Monthly Rentals in Mount Asama

We were two adults with a 3.5 year old toddler and felt that 232 had everything we needed. Special appreciation for the laundry room facilities - clothes were washed and dried super efficiently. Balmuda oven was a nice touch in the kitchen because of many wonderful bakeries nearby - simply buy everything you fancy and they would reheat beautifully. Bathroom was also spacious so it was easy to feel relaxed after a long day. The co-working space next door is beautiful and so is the chicken restaurant downstairs! We had a delicious meal after a long day. Minoru san kindly arranged for us to have the table near the little play/reading corner so that adults could eat in peace while my child entertained himself. The chicken skin was surprisingly crispy and black bean gelato was a gamble that paid off. Couldn't recommend this place more!!

Truly one of the best airbnbs I've ever stayed! The house and its interior was gorgeous. Clean and really comfortable. Although it was nature all around, the house was still clean and free of insects! Highly recommended!

A very beautiful and unique find in AirBnb. Lovely traditional Japanese home in a gated area in KitaKaruizawa. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Quiet and peaceful location. Not too far from Karuizawa town. Would need a car to get around. What stood out in the house was the private onsen. Never found a property like this before. Would return just for that! Some comments (NOT criticisms!) : The only shower area is part of the onsen like an actual public onsen. There are no showers attached to any of the toilets. This might be an issue for some. But this was not a problem for my family. The onsen water temperature was not very hot compared to most public onsens that I have visited all over Japan. Again this was not an issue for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the private onsen. Just a comment. Overall I would highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a quiet peaceful setting and a lovely Japanese style house. Host was also responsive and helpful. Thank you.

I left the extreme heat and bustle of Tokyo and spent 12 days from the end of July this year to the beginning of August. We had a quiet and peaceful time in the beautiful garden surrounded by fresh greenery, the sound of the trees, the sound of wild birds, and the flow of clouds.The house with full windows with a sense of liberation was a nice space where you can relax on the sofa and overlook the beautiful garden from the kitchen counter. There is a local supermarket nearby, and it was a great summer vacation to cook with fresh ingredients, and in the afternoon, I drove to Manza to Manza and into the hot springs to Kusatsu. The owner was also quick to respond before the stay, the map of the location with photos was easy to understand, and the tasteful amenities and dishes felt good by the owner. There was a power outage due to heavy rain at night during my stay, but the owner contacted me right away and didn't get scared. I want to stay here again.Thank you again for everything.
