The facility is located at the foot of Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. Enjoy a relaxing time feeling the blessings of the mountains and nature to your heart's content. We also rent BBQ grills and tent saunas, so you can enjoy an extraordinary experience while feeling at one with nature. * We may not be able to provide a tent sauna depending on availability. This is a nearly 100-year-old Kyoto townhouse that retains its traditional structure and charm while incorporating the comfort and practicality of modern life through the renovation by a Japanese designer. The whole house is equipped with a floor heating system, which is warm and pleasant even in winter. There are two separate toilets and a bathroom to meet the needs of multiple guests. The bathroom has a bathtub overlooking the courtyard, so you can take a hot bath when you return from your trip and relax your mind and body. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking during long stays and enjoying the charm of Kyoto's local ingredients. Located in a quiet alley in the heart of Kyoto, whether you are going to the historic Nijo Castle, or to the Nishiki Market, Karasuma area for shopping, it is within a 15-minute walk, with both transportation and living functions. 京町家コテージkarigane

Built in the early Showa era and long used as a tea ceremony classroom, the townhouse has been reborn as a private rental inn, "Kyomachiya Cottage karigane". It is a 1-minute walk to the hot springs and Daikokuji Temple, which has deep ties to tea. Shino, with its unique cafes, coffee roasters, delicious Japanese confectionery stores, bakeries, and soba shops. Please use the carefully restored Kyomachiya as your base for sightseeing in northern Kyoto, where time flows slowly, with a focus on natural materials and traditional craftsmanship by Miyadai Koge and Saigo craftsmen.
