While the exterior retains the atmosphere of a historic Kyoto townhouse, the interior is a space that harmonizes Japanese tradition and modernity. When you enter the entrance, you can enjoy the seasonal nature of Kyoto's unique tsubo garden, which is like a cut-out of the scenery in the mountains. The facility is a Kyoto townhouse with elegant taste, decorated with paintings by Japanese painters and decorations by craftsmen. It can accommodate up to 9 people in a spacious 100 ㎡ space. It is spacious enough to relax with family or friends, and is the perfect place to "travel like you live in the ancient city of Kyoto". There is also a kids' space for children to enjoy, so families with children can also have a comfortable stay. Nijo Castle is within walking distance, but access to major tourist attractions such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Arashiyama, Gion, and Kyoto Imperial Palace is also good from the bus stop right next to the facility. The private rental accommodation "Takasegawa Shichijo" is a fully renovated 115-year-old traditional Kyoto townhouse. The traditional Kyoto townhouse, which forms part of the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, has been redesigned as a building with high airtightness and thermal insulation, while retaining its original structure, so that you can enjoy a comfortable stay even in the humid and hot summers and harshly cold winters that are unique to Kyoto. From the Japanese-style room on the first floor, you can see the tsubo garden, which is designed to resemble a "roji" (*a garden leading to a tea room). There is also a sofa in the hallway where you can relax and enjoy the view of the tsubo garden. In the evening, you can spend a relaxing time watching the illuminated tsubo garden. There are two bedrooms on the second floor: a Japanese-style room with two single beds and a Western-style room with two single beds. If there are 5 or more guests, we ask that you use the Japanese-style room on the first floor as a bedroom by laying out futons, though this may be a bit inconvenient. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and tableware for simple cooking.

The 250-square-meter exquisite Japanese garden changes with the four seasons of Kyoto's beautiful scenery. There is a kimono workshop in the Suiokawa Minsu with a professional kimono teacher, miya, where you can wear a formal kimono to go out and return it after you come back.
