Guesthouse holiday rentals in Mountain View

I've stayed in at least a half dozen other airbnb places in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area over the last years, and this location was by far the nicest. It's very quiet and nicely appointed; easy parking and easy access; close to downtown Palo Alto; and above all, Bob was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate and responses were almost instantaneous. I hope to have the chance to stay again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

I loved my stay. Coming and going was a breeze. The setting is spectacular: great views, peaceful surroundings, and quiet. I needed a retreat-like atmosphere and this place nailed it. David was a incredibly gracious host and very communicative. Could not recommend more highly.

Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

This is the third time we stay in Tracy's place, and it's always a great pleasure. The location is great, the house is very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Tracy responds quickly to any messages and really makes us feel at home. Will keep coming back :)

Warm and welcoming. I arrived close to midnight, and she stayed up late to greet me. I loved her cozy home, especially the beautiful garden and her lovely dog. Everything was spotless, and it truly felt like home. When I left, she came to say goodbye, which made me feel like I was leaving an old friend. I will definitely return!”

The apartment is ideally located for visiting Stanford and is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and flowers, and lots of birds. The host is very friendly and responsive

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Very accommodating and very clean and quiet. Arthur was the perfect host! Our only issue was the parking. We were in San Jose for a church conference that took place off of 1st Street near 237. We wouldn't get back to the cottage until after 10 p.m. so had to park a block or so away both nights. But, it won't stop us from returning. We will be back for next year's conference. Thanks again Arthur!

This is our second time staying here. Very private, clean, and beautiful home in the hills. We highly recommend staying here. You will see a lot of wildlife, too!

Yao was a perfect host. She was always responsive to my inquires and was very accommodating when I asked for an earlier check in. Yao Airbnb was very clean, in a quite neighborhood and just a short drive to Kaiser Santa Clara where I had an early morning appointment.

This spot is very well located, quiet, clean with everything you need. Very comfortable bedding. Very pleasant shaded patio. Marilynn is very friendly and responsive. An example, broken coffee maker changed within the next hour. We had a very good stay in this accommodation. Thanks again!

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

We loved our stay at Julie’s studio. It was such a beautiful space and perfect for our needs. The outdoor area is beautiful and the inside is cozy and so well put together. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood to get delicious food. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed a week at the Digital Nomad Retreat visiting family and the redwoods. This Airbnb really is a stellar 5* retreat. We enjoyed the surrounding, of course, and the Airbnb is spotless and perfect. Robert is the perfect host and always a text away. I’m sure we will return to this quiet, adorable get-away in the trees.

Absolutely gorgeous view and setting! This ADU is like a spa in the woods with the conveniences of city living just minutes away. Laura and Darren were incredible hosts. They were very responsive and gave clear instructions for using all the spa amenities. Would for sure stay here next time I visit the area!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in a beautiful cabin in La Honda, CA last weekend, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the redwoods — the perfect escape from the city. What made the stay even more special were the incredible hosts. Devora and her husband who own the property were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it really made all the difference. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature or just a memorable weekend getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back!

Michelle was very hospitable. The backyard was beautiful and well maintained. The cottage was private, very peaceful and in a safe neighborhood. It felt both modern and cozy ♡ I loved the cute kitchen, the nice shower, the outdoor patio with seating and the comfy bed. I will definitely return to stay again as I am originally from the bay area and this location is perfect for hanging out or quickly getting many other surroundings cities that I frequent. I can't wait to go back to the cottage for my next bay area trip!

Great option for small group of people visiting for a short time

Wonderful place and perfectly situated near downtown Campbell. Loved the short walk to great restaurants, coffee shops and farmer's market. The cottage was perfect -- very clean, brand new and well appointed. We had everything we needed. Hosts Matt and Julie were extremely responsive and helpful. Street parking was readily available. We will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying with Kate. I really appreciate that she reached out to ask about special dietary needs. The neighborhood was wonderful and very quiet! Loads of interesting things to do nearby. It was our first time to the San Francisco area and we enjoyed our stay! Your place was very convenient to all our activities. The information about Redwood forests was helpful and we ended up At Purisima Creek Redwood preserve after spending some time at Half Moon Bay! Both fabulous places and close to our location! Mike and Cindy have lovely spot and have made a delightful mini apartment - throughly enjoyed my 3 day stay and found it peaceful and relaxing - with an easy walk to the shops and restaurants - what more could you ask - Recommend!
