The space is excellent, very cozy and sheltered, even though it is in a place with houses around it, it is very private and with total privacy. The house has more than enough space and conditions for 4/5 people, everything tidy and very clean. The pool is small, but big enough to cool off from the Alentejo heat. As for Carlos, he was an excellent host, always available for any and all questions, always with clear and concise information. The check-in process was super simple, and the instructions were always clear. I plan to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet space.

Joao met us as the house for check in - he was friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendations for close hikes and river beaches, including the google map links! The house was immaculate, beautiful with modern upgrades while still maintaining charming 100 year old historical details and furnishings. The private pool was 100% the best part of this stay. Not huge, but enough space for 4 or 5 to get in and have fun. Lots of shady deck seating, and the air conditioning in the house was great in the 37 degrees weather. With 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there was plenty of room for all 5 of us. Not a lot to do within the village, but essentials were met with a few markets and restaurants. It was a nice break to be in a quiet, sleepy village for our stay in Portugal. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, slow pace to your vacation. I would definitely stay again. The house is perfectly located on the beautiful Serra D'Ossa with lots of things to do on the surroundings. The host was very friendly and responsive and the house has pristine.

if you don't like: the birds singing, the sound of sheep bells in the distance, bathe in a 15x5 pool for two in a green setting, not to mention the exciting discussions on history, geography, local crafts with Carlos... then go on your way!

As others have said the hosts were excellent. We immediately felt at home and were welcomed with a jug of homemade lemonade and fruit. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and we found it refreshingly cool in the hot Alentejo summer without the need to use the aircon. It's a short drive to Évora which is a lovely city with some excellent restaurants. All in all this was one of our best stays in an AirBnB.

This house was just the right size for a small family getaway in one of the most beautiful regions of Alentejo. Located in the charming and typically Portuguese village of Motrinos—where time seems to slow down—it offers the perfect base to explore the area’s stunning landscapes and rich gastronomic culture. From São Lourenço do Barrocal, just minutes away, to nearby towns known for their historical landmarks, renowned restaurants, and excellent wine cellars, everything is within easy reach. The house itself features a refreshing small pool, a well-equipped BBQ for enjoying local produce, and a laid-back atmosphere that invites you to truly unwind. As locals, we found the experience to be authentically Portuguese—relaxing, flavorful, and deeply satisfying.

A century-old house, very well remodeled and preserved. Close to services, restaurants, historic area and river beach. Many activities to choose from. Excellent contact with the host, very available and friendly. Great for a few days with family or friends, given the number of beds. We will want to repeat ☺️

We loved our stay and Miguel was always very friendly and available. The house is amazing, super quiet and well decorated. The fireplace makes the atmosphere super cozy, we hope to return soon.

We stayed 2 nights and we liked it a lot, we felt very good and the house has everything you need for a few quiet days and rest. Very clean and organized and the house is very well located with easy walking access to everything you need. Elisabete was fantastic in following up throughout the stay, we really liked it. We really enjoyed our stay - watching the sunset over the vineyard, stargazing, and warming ourselves by the fire. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Very clean and well-equipped accommodation, special mention for local products available for purchase in the accommodation (wine and cheese). free street parking Francisco gave us all the info for our arrival. I recommend it.

Great stay at Luis's place, everything was perfect. The house is absolutely charming, typical and located in the beautiful little village of the potters Sao Pedro Do Corval. Delicate attention from Luis upon arrival. I would recommend it 100%.

We were very pleased with Carlos' place and enjoyed the stay very much without restrictions. The atmosphere is very quiet and familiar, you are surrounded by nature, and the view of the old part of the town with its aqueduct is beautiful. And in a few minutes' walk you can reach the center with nice restaurants and everything you need. We are happy to recommend it and will also be happy to come back. But then longer than two days!

From the super cozy space to the immense sympathy of Dona Vicência, it was an experience to repeat. I strongly advise 😊

We were a family of six and had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculately, clean, very comfortable and had the extras that we all love which included coffee, wine, glasses, and a full kitchen. I would Highly recommend this Airbnb.

Rita’s home is stunning. The kitchen is perfect for whatever you need from just stocking snacks to cooking a full meal (which we did). The beds were all very comfortable with wonderful linens, extra pillows and additional duvets in the closet. The bathroom is very well done and has very soft towels and the shower had great pressure. The ambiance of the entire home is amazing with the fireplace, the loft, the kitchen overlooking the living room - we could not have asked for more! Rita is an attentive host and is very quick to respond to any question or concerns. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Beja.

Everything worked very well; the space was very tidy and extremely clean; we didn't miss anything (it was also well equipped and "modernized"); it is extremely well located; the instructions were clear and communication easy. I recommend it! The only things that required some adaptation on my part: the photograph of the sofa bed does not correspond to the furniture that is currently there, which I believe will accommodate a child well, but not so well an adult (it has a wooden frame that delimits one side and the tops - my feet and head touched this "frame" - and it does not open into a double bed, as shown in the photos - it is the size of a single bed); although the windows are more recent, possibly having thermal insulation, they may not have sound insulation and the street is sometimes noisy (area of passage of cars and people).
