The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. We are a little farm so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.
