The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

Longmynd Cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty perfectly situated for those who want great walking opportunities, families who like fresh air or writers and artists who require some solitude in beautiful surroundings. A lovely old country pub with good food and beer is 5 minutes walk away. Birdlife is abundant with Buzzards, Red Kites and a Woodpecker is a frequent visitor to the garden. There is no light pollution so stars are incredible and sometimes the Auroa is too!

Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor but Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.
