We loved staying at Beryl's home! It is comfortable and cozy at the same time. Everything we needed was there. She has a lovely mature garden that I enjoyed strolling in. The home is in an area that has many walking paths and is quiet. Beryl is a very attentive host who ensured we were comfortable at all times, yet leaving us to our privacy. The kitchen has everything we needed to make a meal. She has a beautiful home and I do recommend it for anyone who is looking for peace and tranquility.

Compact and cosy, and with a small compound that has grass - you can sit outside! Homely feel, super responsive host. A good place to stay when you need quiet and/or want to get some work done. The desk/chair in bedroom 1 is a nice touch. Small, high bedroom 2 window faces access road and has a slatted screen and mesh, so not much light comes through - might be an issue for some. Location (Maraba) a couple of kms into a residential zone, so bit out of the way if you like being near malls. Good value for money.

We had an amazing stay at Lorena’s in Kisumu this past weekend! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, quiet yet close to everything. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kisumu. We’ll definitely be back!
