Quiet&relaxing atmosphere in a “House Museum” offered by open minded gay couple who have travelled to more than 223 territories. We live in a sheep farm not far from Djúpivogur village with our border collie dog Prada. Possibility to host the ninth person in a living room on a sofa bed if necessary.

The apartment offers an entrance from the ground floor and the first floor from the big terrace, that can also be enjoyed during the stay. Well equipped kitchen & very cosy living room. Downstairs is a big bedroom with double bed and one/two single beds, upstairs is a sofa-bed. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Spectacular mountain & fjord views. Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.
