Monthly Rentals in Munkholm

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly furnished and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the peace and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully spoiled all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. An amazing cabin and beautiful setting. Very spacious and well-furnished; All four beds were really comfortable and the kitchen and laundry facilities were perfect. We really enjoyed being so close to the fjord for morning swims from thew bathing jetty that Malene recommended. Malene also went above and beyond in providing advice and recommendations, and also letting us know about local events taking place during our stay. Lots of tables and chairs in the garden meant lots of options for sitting outside in the sun or shade. Just one minor but annoying issue to address with the shower in the wet room. The bathroom floor slopes away from the drain hole meaning time consuming clearing up after every shower. All in all however, this was one minor issue in an otherwise lovely cabin and we would love to come back.

Simple, quiet, and perfect for writing stays. Peter is welcoming and very helpful. I'd love to come again.
