Tent holiday accommodation in Munster

We spent two nights in the campsite of this hostel. It was a very quiet place. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Showers, toilets, and the kitchen were really clean and nice. The whole area is very well maintained. The campsite is in a great location, a short walking distance to the pubs/restaurants. A really nice stay.

Great location within walking distance to pubs and take-away and within driving distance to point of interest (e.g. Mizen’s Head). Nice surroundings/views. Very clean toilets and shower facilities.

Unmatched location for natural beauty. Our first night was a bit rainy, but the tent kept us cozy. Next day was stunning weather, perfect for exploring the beautiful area. Close to beaches and attractions, and walkable to a lovely little town with nice places to eat.

We had a magical last-minute getaway at Goleen Harbour and couldn’t be more grateful to Shawn for accepting our booking on such short notice. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The tent was cozy and nestled in nature — peaceful, clean, and perfect for a reset. Evenings were spent around the campfire, sharing stories and laughs under a sky full of stars. The stargazing here is unreal — crystal clear and breathtaking. It felt like time slowed down. Waking up to birdsong and the fresh sea breeze was the cherry on top. Shawn was a fantastic co-host, always responsive and thoughtful. His passion for the place shines through. This stay reminded us that true luxury is about connection — with nature, with people, and with yourself. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a soulful escape from the noise of everyday life. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to be, really enjoyed our weekend! The hot tub and the sauna were an awesome addition especially after our bike ride in the rain!! Miffy & Sam were great hosts and we would highly recommend this beautiful little yurt.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueilli. Les hôtes sont extrêmement réactifs. La literie est extraordinaire ! La tente était encore mieux que les photos. Seul inconvénient le bruit du vent et de la pluie la nuit. Malgré cela nous avons pu profiter à fond de ce logement et visiter la région qui est superbe.

El recibimiento por Janet y Michael fue perfecto. Los dulces que nos prepararon como bienvenida estaban deliciosos. La casa estaba súper limpia y las camas eran cómodas, grandes y acogedoras. El cuarto de baño estaba muy limpio y era muy amplio. Es la tienda más grande y lujosa en la que he estado. Además la primera noche a pesar de estar lloviendo fuerte y con mucho viento dormimos fenomenal. Ha sido una experiencia fantástica!

Great stay with the moth trap once again! Weather was wet and windy. Derry kindly let me stay in one of the cottages. It was super cosy, clean and tidy. Will have to book a stay with partner and dogs in the cottage in the future. Derry is an awesome host.

Asja était là pour nous a toute les étapes du booking! Avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme, elle nous a montrer tout ce que la tante pouvait nous apporter! Nous qui avions peur d'avoir froid, c'était tout le contraire! Même avec une température extérieur froide, l'intérieur était ultra confortable! Très confortable comme tante, nous prévoyons acheter la même tellement nous avons été satisfait! Je recommence x1000 ce logement et son hôtesse d'une gentillesse incomparable!

We had such a lovely time here. The tent and surrounds are gorgeous. Very safe and perfect for a young family. My daughter had great fun running through all the paths in the long grass. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Bernadette & Paul!

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret’s farm with our two families and kids. The tent and hut setup was cozy, clean, and full of character—perfect for a fun outdoor experience without giving up comfort. Margaret was a kind and thoughtful host, and the kids loved exploring the farm and meeting the animals. Evenings by the firepit were a highlight! Peaceful, relaxing, and a great place to unplug. Highly recommend for families looking for a unique countryside stay.
