Holiday rentals with lake access in Murol

What a lovely old house , in a tiny peaceful village. We couldn't have had a nicer stop over on our trip from Portugal to Switzerland, and I enjoyed my birthday lazing and playing in the garden. The furnishings and kitchen are not modern, but the house is full of style and charm. Although early June, the house was cool at night and we used the amazing log burner. We were there on Whitsun Monday, and a lot of local shops and restaurants closed early, but we had a trip to the old hill top village of Usson, and bought the best ever chicken from a rotisserie in the nearby village. We didn't meet Sonia, but communication with her was very good and friendly.

What a joy to spend these few days in Thomas and Anaïs' house, after a nice welcome from her mom!! Everything is of quality, very cozy (we felt at home), and impeccably clean! The view is to fall. A beautiful lake is right next door, and there is no shortage of hiking trails. La Bourboule and Mont Dore are just a few minutes away, there are very good restaurants :-) A real treat to unwind in this little corner of paradise. Frankly, it was a favorite for us, and we'll be back for sure. A big thank you.

Very large, pleasant and clean house! Very well located with the lake nearby. Delphine welcomed us very well and indicated the shops around.

Jean-Pierre and Fabienne are a very warm and lovable guest couple. The lovingly renovated cottage offers all comforts and is sparkling clean and wonderfully quiet, located on Lac de Menet. It is an ideal starting point for excursions into the wonderful and uncrowded surroundings. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great stay at Laetitia's cottage. She was very responsive and helpful. Cottage perfectly suited to families, the children loved the play area. Area is beautiful. It made us want to come back.

We are delighted with our stay in Super-Besse in Caroline's apartment! Everything was perfect. The apartment is very well-equipped, clean and convenient. Very good location, close to shops. Caroline is very welcoming and very responsive when needed. The resort offers many activities and there are many nice things to see and visit in the area. We'll be happy to come back!

Véronique was clear in the instructions, kind and responsive. Great host! The accommodation is cozy, ideal for two people, for 4 it's small but if you plan to spend time outside, it's perfect! In addition, we saw the Sancy! The location, for a month of May and without a bridge, was peaceful but a little empty because the locals take their holidays at this time (so much the better for them!). And it's a beautiful region.

We had a great time for 3 days. At the foot of the slopes/hikes and shops/restaurants very convenient. The accommodation is clean, well maintained and equipped. Karine was perfect for preparations and hospitality. I recommend 👌

We spent a week in Murol at the foot of the castle, the place is quiet and wooded, the apartment is very functional and clean, we are delighted with our stay, the host was attentive to make our stay pleasant, we thank her very much for the amenities provided, we will be happy to come back.

Fabien and Séverine are welcoming and warm hosts. They are very invested in the exchanges. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very well equipped, bright. The view is clear. An address to remember if we return to Auvergne!

We loved our stay in the accommodation offered by Camille. Everything was impeccable, she responded quickly to our questions, we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend! We would highly recommend!!

Accommodation was lovely with everything we needed. It was comfortable and the fire was great. It was a charming location, with great views. Secluded and private, only 5 minutes in the car to the shops and a delightful auberge restaurant. One of us has mobility issues (walking with a stick) and access to the cottage is down a 100m track which was a bit tricky in the rain.

We really enjoyed staying at Martine's gîte. It felt like home, very comfortable and nicely decorated, with some nice little extras as a welcome, and lots of books and tourist information leaflets. The beds were also very comfortable and the shower very good, too. Everything seems new and recently renovated. The view from the terrace onto the surrounding mountains is amazing, and Martine provided lots of seating options, all very comfortable . And one of the things us that one wakes up to only bird song in the morning. It's a very idyllic, peaceful and beautiful place. Martine is also always open to questions, if you have any. And there is a very handy basement / garage that you can use. Everything was perfect and very good quality, the gîte has everything that one needs. The WiFi was very good. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again, if we are in the area again.

Stéphanie is a very welcoming host. She spontaneously called me to give me visiting tips and directions to find her house She agreed that we could stay a little longer on the last day because her organization allowed her to do so and this allowed us to enjoy a last family lunch on her beautiful terrace the accommodation is in a small hamlet extremely quiet with an unobstructed view. We quickly felt comfortable in the accommodation. thank you again for your welcome and kindness

Very nice stay with family, 6 adults, 3 children, 1 baby, 2 small dogs and 1 small cat. 20 minutes from the volcanoes and 1 hour from Puy de Sancy. Large house on 3 levels. Grocery store 15 minutes away.
