Peaceful and quiet place. Lots of things to do for kids. Will definitely come back again next year.

Great place to stay for the price, hot tub was amazing and having the Blackstone and grill made it even better. It’s secluded enough to get away from the city but still only a 10 min drive to downtown Whitehall. Can’t recommend it enough, would definitely stay there again

A great house!

We had a wonderful getaway at Maggie’s place. We loved everything from the decor to the stocked kitchen and the gorgeous yard. You can tell that Maggie pays close attention to details- anticipating everything that guests may need. The hot tub on the screened-in porch was absolutely perfect. Everyone in our group slept great in the comfy beds. Plenty of linens, sound machines, ceiling fans, and heat and AC. We lucked out with perfect weather so we were able to sleep with the windows open and wake up to the sound of birds which added to a perfect relaxing weekend with old friends. We were even able to enjoy some yoga in the well-kept backyard. We are already talking about when we all get away again so we can come back!

This was an amazing home to stay at with great amenities and lots of room for big families! Great host, very responsive and answered any questions I had during my stay.

Wonderful cabin in a wonderful location. Rather spacious considering how small the cabin actually is. Seven adults fit and managed just fine.

The cabin is a beautiful property that easily hosted 8 adult men on a golf outing. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and the basement media room was a huge hit with the group to watch sports, play foosball, and have mortal combat tournaments. There is a selection of fantastic golf courses all within a 30 minute drive, and Grand Rapids is only 30 minutes away as well for dinners, and going out. I'd highly recommend this cabin for a golf outing, and I would gladly book again if I was going to be in the area.

The house is lovely-quaint log cabin with nicely updated kitchen and sparkly clean bathrooms! Wonderful porch with hot tub. The neighborhood is away from downtown which has its perks. The home is one of many duplicates in a cute “subdivision”. Neighboring houses in the association are very close to each other and give a nice community feel. The house is close to the main road so easy to find, but some traffic noise. Restrictive parking but clear directions from owners. Lovely large dining table, two living spaces and three ample bedrooms with clean linens and towels.

Awesome stay, we have done this with the family for a few years and really have a wonderful time between the cabin and the amenities at double jj. The place is hard to find as the directions take you down a service road, but once there it’s a dream.

The cabin is charming, with practical and aesthetically appealing amenities and decoration. The private space both inside and out was calming and relaxing. We enjoyed birdwatching, dipping into the books on hand and walking through the woods.

Overall, everything was great. Gives you the off-grid type of feel due to limited cell/internet service. Great place to just getaway and decompress. Place as described. If you have kids, highly suggest Lewis Farms. If I had to give any suggestive feedback, the beds are very, very firm. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

We spent a couple days exploring Double JJ Ranch and Robert’s house was about 7-10 minutes from the ranch. Perfect location for us! It was a great house to rent.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the outdoor space (deck/firepit/view/etc.) was a dream. But what truly sets this Airbnb apart is the host. Communication was friendly, prompt, and genuinely warm. You can tell they care not just about the space, but about your experience. We felt like valued guests, not just customers. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, a home base for exploring, or just a place to recharge, this is it.

We had a great stay at Marlene’s place. We loved the rustic feel of the cottage, which was very cozy. We enjoyed our coffee outside in the morning with the beautiful wooded backdrop and the sound of roosters. When it got chilly at night we through some logs in the wood burning fire stove. Really beautiful and comfortable place. Would definitely stay again.

The stay was great and Kurt was super friendly and responsive. I had to call when my service wouldn’t load the check in code for the door and he chatted and gave us directions to get to the lakes by the house - all walkable by the way. Great location and the pie the hosts made was delicious! Thank you and we’ll be back again!

This is a GREAT place to stay. So well taken care of, very clean with all the “things” you need for your stay. Brian the host is very good to work with and accommodating.

We so enjoyed our weekend at the River Valley View Cabin! It was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway, so private and peaceful overlooking the beautiful river. The cabin was very clean, roomy yet cozy, and well supplied with everything we needed. We appreciated the multiple comfortable places provided to sit and relax: outside seating areas, the enclosed porch, and the homey living area inside. We loved hiking on the nearby Dragon Trail and enjoyed the fabulous fall colors on display throughout the area. Jackie was a great host, reaching out several times. We hope to return someday!

Michael’s place was the perfect weekend getaway! The home is even more beautiful than the photos, and the views made it feel like we were in the mountains. The property felt private and peaceful — we barely saw anyone, which was perfect for traveling with our dogs. The treehouse area across the street gave us plenty of space to play fetch daily. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook dinners each night, which we really appreciated. Fishing from the dock was decent — we caught lots of small perch, a smallmouth and largemouth bass, though my dad lost quite a few hooks due to snagging, so we recommend stronger line, I was good with a 14lb line. A rowboat for fishing could be a great future addition! The 185 steps from the lake are no joke but worth having both the incredible mountain-like views while still having lake access. Michael was kind, responsive, and flexible, making our stay stress-free. We’d absolutely come back!

This was our second year staying in Mary K’s cabin. The location is unmatched. You can see and hear the lake through the trees. The path down to the private beach takes just two minutes. There is all the beach gear you need, and two fire pits for a beach bonfire. The cabin is cozy and does the trick for a beach vacation. We plan to return many times over.

We came in for a concert and golf and this great place on the water fit the bill great. Thank you for having us!!

Nice, clean little cabin. We just needed somewhere to sleep for a night on our trip, and this worked perfect. Easy to find. Host is responsive.
