We stayed a Philip’s place which was absolutely beautiful and we had a great few days in Nairobi. From the start, communication was very smooth and Philip was helpful in guiding us coming from the airport to the house. What a peaceful and relaxing place to arrive after a long flight! He also had great local tips to explore the city. The garden is colorful and serene with many beautiful birds around. The location is within the city’s vibrant areas which makes it very easy to visit restaurants, supermarkets and even Nairobi national park is only 20 minutes away! We also did a tour in the Central Business District, which can be quite hectic and overwhelming. It is really nice to be able to come back to the tranquil garden for a break during the hot periods of the day. The rooms are very spacious and all the facilities needed are available in the house, which has a stylish and colorful interior. Great value for your money, would highly recommend to others!

It was my first time staying at Village villa, I always go to Bonsai villa the sister villa but I must say I enjoyed the stay. I had a meeting at the Malaysian embassy and I didn't want to risk being late. The area is safe and so close to other embassies, it's also close to many restaurants which makes ordering food easy. and most importantly deep sleep from the quietness of the villa. The best to go and rejuvenate in Nairobi. I'm ready looking forward to my next stay. Thank you Duncan!!

We LOVED the Masai lodge villa! Stunning view and a genuine nature experience close to Nairobi for us, two Swedish families with teenagers. We also enjoyed the pool at the lodge and the short walk to the bridge and Kitengela glass center. A small minus: there were not enough facilities in the house for self service for example no can opener or ability to brew coffee. Very! Rough road to get there. The uber driver was not happy. We also had to wait for the villa to be cleaned. But on the other hand we had plenty of time to check out, very relaxed which we enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This was the second room I booked and I shared it with my daughter. We had a one night stopover in Nairobi on our way upcountry. The location was convenient, I could easily shop at Village market, and easily access the Nakuru highway. The room was spotless and the hosts had left a fruit platter for us and also arranged dinner as we had checked in late. The environment was quiet and serene and the staff were very helpful. Dan and Mary, the hosts, were attentive and charming.

My stay at Village Villa was great!The location was perfect, 5 minutes away from the Village Market Mall which came in handy tremendously. The location was very safe as it was right by the US Embassy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was neat and clean. I would recommend!

Bonsai Villa felt like home the moment I stepped in! Duncan is a fantastic host and all the staff are heartily welcoming, very warm, friendly and ready to help you with anything at all times: show you around their beautiful gardens, send you updates about interesting events, show you safest and cheapest ways to get around, recipes of Kenyan dishes ... The villa is located in one of the most beautiful and safest neighborhoods, surrounded by beautiful and gigantic vegetation, right next to Karura Forest. The terraces & gardens are full of beautiful tress, flowers, shrubs, & herbs carefully tended to by the staff, making the ambience very peaceful and pleasant. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest at all times of the day. If you are a foodie or traveling alone, you will absolutely love the huge common kitchen on the ground flower where you can socialize with the other guests, staff and cook. I call this house a home; I will always stay at Bonsai Villa when in Nairobi!

My Stay was fantastic. Very peacful and serene. I speny most of my stay laying by the pool. Terie reccomended a driver .he was awesome took me into the city for a great meal. terie was extremely pleasant. Always willing to offer suggestions. i would highly reccomend. looking forward to my next stay

Village Villa is fantastic! Great & safe location right next to Village Market Mall with great local scenes, restaurants, gym, USA Embassy & UN next door. Great WiFi, super friendly staff. The Villa is in between Diplomatic missions which gives one a special sense of security and peace of mind in Nairobi. Duncan & his team are what great hosting is all about! The beautiful garden at the back was a great asset to bask in on sunny days. Real value for money. Highly recommended!!

We loved our stay! It was a family trip, 2 adults, 2 kids. The house is beautiful and the staff are even better. We were well taken care of from delicious breakfasts to coordination of local activities. They coordinated most of our rides, but Uber is easy use. Uber Eats so also an option if you don’t want to go out. The UN and Village Market are close with restaurants, local shopping, and fun activities. At the house, the kids played in the pool almost everyday with a beautiful banana tree providing the ambience, truly peaceful and idyllic! We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you! We miss you already!

I booked village villa for a friend who was traveling for work. He really enjoyed the space. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Mary the host made it a point to come welcome him herself. The proximity to the UN office made it convinient for him to walk to the office and back which is amazing and restaurants were just next door at village market so he was able to try out some local food. The stay was superb!
