You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle has calmed down, and it is a season when you can enjoy a quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, making it suitable for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.With a washing machine and bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can also get here by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available at Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transportation and sightseeing transfers are available for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (both ways) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours one way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance as we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips in the latter half of summer vacation, as well as for couples and small groups.

There is a 24-hour supermarket about 20 minutes away by car, but please make your purchases before check-in. Don't forget the seasonings. Nagano city and Zenkoji Temple are about 20 minutes by car, Togakushi is 20 minutes by car, and Iizuna Resort Ski Area is about 10 minutes by car. In addition, Hakuba and Jigokudani Onsen (snow monkeys) are 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car, and Kurohime and Lake Nojiri are 30 minutes away. In winter, many guests go out to Myoko, Tangram, and Shiga Kogen every day. In winter, a company is contracted to remove snow from public roads. You can also check in with peace of mind in winter! You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and marten, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. [Nüek Kurohime] An entire rental inn in the forest of Kurohime Kogen

🍃 “Nüek” is a small, traditional kominka house located on the Kurohime Highland in Nagano, Japan, that has been renovated and is now available for rent as an entire property. The renovation was attended by Studio Sayapu led by Mr. Kitazawa, an artist based in Nagano.Focusing on Mr. Kitazawa's sensibilities, the company's craftsmen, who bring out the power of the old private house, have worked hard to create a space that is quietly sophisticated while making use of the charm. It is cool in summer and in winter you can enjoy skiing and snow views.Time passes as you gently prepare yourself while surrounded by nature. Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

A 1000 square meter private villa with 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We offer each "way of spending time". After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.
