This is a private rental inn surrounded by the rich nature of the Iizuna Highlands. It was built in 1998, the year of the Nagano Olympics, at an altitude of 1200 m. The traditional wooden building, finished without a single nail, was completed by a renowned architect and a master carpenter. It is a calm space where you can feel the warmth of the craftsmanship. The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Iizuna Kogen, where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Beautiful green summer, colorful autumn leaves, and winter with snow-covered scenery - you can feel a different charm every time you visit. A highland summer resort with cool, refreshing breezes in the summer. Please spend a quiet and comfortable time relaxing in nature. Winter sports are also available at nearby ski resorts in winter. You can use the entire building of a sophisticated design house studio at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. There is a spiral staircase right in front of you when you enter the front door.You can enjoy an extraordinary experience in a space furnished with exquisite pieces. Feel free to use the spacious living space, atelier space, rooftop bathroom, wood deck, and garden with stone kiln. [Accommodation fee] 1 building fee.Up to 6 people can stay at an even rate. The accommodation fee includes consumption tax, Nagano Prefecture accommodation tax, and Airbnb service fees. We are renting out another house in the town where we live. There is no TV, but instead there is a grand piano, picture books, and a forest that fills the window. 8weeks Fujimi is a quiet house at the foot of the Fujimi Panorama Resort. During the day, listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highlands, and at night, gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand. The villa, with its log cabin-style interior and grand piano, creates a space that is both extraordinary and somehow familiar. We moved from the city in 2020 with our then 1-year-old daughter. We were fascinated by Fujimi-cho and decided to move there within 8 weeks. We spent a luxurious time in the rich natural surroundings, and by the time eight weeks had passed, we were thinking, "Let's stay in this town." We named it "8weeks" because we hope that our guests will also spend time here that makes them want to stay. This is the house where I have lived with my 6-year-old daughter, so small children can also stay here with peace of mind. We have taken care to avoid placing items that could be dropped or bumped into as much as possible, and we also have a variety of picture books, musical instruments, and toys.

For summer vacation bookings in 2026 (for stays from July 21st to August 31st), children up to elementary school age stay for free. After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
