This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 45-year-old wooden house located in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. We are renovating it to make it comfortable for modern people to use, while maintaining the good points of an old house. It features a space where old and new materials coexist and you can feel the natural environment, including the garden. Even large groups can use it comfortably. We hope you can relax and use it as a base for sightseeing in Hokuriku and climbing the Northern Alps. There is a monitor, so it is also recommended for workations. We also have a range of appliances, cooking utensils, and seasonings. Please bring your own. Close to the Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, the only coastline in Japan. You can spend a relaxing time enjoying the seasonal sea views. This is not a tourist destination.Surrounded by fields and mountains, you wake up in the morning to the sound of birds and it is surprisingly quiet at night.In the kitchen, you'll find miso and pickles, as well as other tools for a lifestyle that incorporates fermentation, a tradition passed down in this region.The greatest feast in this house is the "ordinary life" where nothing special happens. We used furniture inherited from local homes and flooring materials from a demolished temple.This is a space where time remains in this land, with its scars and tree rings intact. Our inn offers room-only accommodation as standard. We also offer experiences such as campfires, plant dyeing, and local home cooking upon request (reservations required).Your guides are local residents who have lived here for a long time. Surrounded by the nature of the Noto area, it's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto (about 1 hour by car which is recommended) making it convenient for sightseeing.
