We renovated an old private house on the banks of the Shimanto River in Shimanto-cho, Kochi Prefecture, so that you can stay there. ✨ We used cypress wood from Shimanto-cho for the flooring, and I think you can enjoy the scent of cypress. The space was designed by Muji Planning Co., Ltd., and we have a full range of Muji products such as furniture, appliances, interior design, and amenities. Couples, couples, girls' trips, families with children, etc. can stay slowly regardless of age, and you can see the starry sky at night. Please enjoy the unbranded space. There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains　四万十町一軒家貸切　※最大６名

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

騒がしく、忙しい都会を離れ、家族と、愛する人と、仲のいい仲間と、海を見るだけで静かに過ごす究極の隠れ家。こんな宿泊施設があるといいなと、作りました。☆いくつのホテルではありません。自分たちなりの過ごし方を考えてほしい。 天気の良い日は広いウッドデッキで朝のコーヒー。寒い冬は薪ストーブで暖まり、おいしい食事を自分で作って食べる。好きな音楽をかけ、壁いっぱいの本に囲まれ読書ざんまい。下灘の生活を垣間見ながら下灘駅までの散策。海で釣りをし、山でツワブキ、土筆、自然薯を自分で採って食べる。 長期滞在がおススメです。シモナダキャビンをベースに、松山市まで車で約1時間。四万十川まで2.5時間。四国カルストまで3時間。 買い物は伊予市か長浜町で、あるいは地元の魚屋さんや八百屋さんで買ってきて、自炊する。もちろん、予約すれば近くのレストランで食べるもよし。ともかくシモナダキャビンではゆっくりすごしてほしい。1泊なんてもったいなすぎます。最低でも2日がおススメです。天気の良い日も、悪い日も、それぞれに楽しめる場所です。
