When I read other guests reviews, I could tell that Janet sincerely cared for all of her guests. If you are searching for a home away from home, stop searching because Janet is the GEM in the Sunshine Coast treasure box.

Stayed here for a week early June and it was exactly as described. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed. It’s in a convenient location. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back! Thanks again.

We loved staying at such a beautiful peaceful house, gorgeous ocean views! The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The house had plenty of room for our family group consisting of my husband and I with our two young kids, two grandparents and my brother in law and his wife and two kids.

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of this property. So much so, that we considered buying a cottage in this community. Our stay was a luxury experience. Kate and Fohla were wonderful hosts and gave us personal attention as needed. We will be back!

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Everything was great, the only thing for me is I like a hard bed. Now don’t get me wrong my kids said they had the best sleep. Her bed was WAY too soft. Memory foam beds and foam pillows! It was nice but I didn’t have the best sleep because I’m used of a harder bed.

It was an enchanting experience that lived up to all the beautiful photos on the listing . True BC West Coast experience. We will be back soon for sure.

Shirley has a beautiful home. She is super responsive and helpful. A delight.Her home was great as well had everything we could need. The Kitchen very well stocked. Deck was so soothing and relaxing. I am so happy !I had such a wonderful weekend staying here with friends and visiting family. Thank you Shirley for the thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend this home.

Sage's place was absolutely stunning! Well decorated with space for our family to each have their own room. There were plenty of essentials that we didn't have to buy (shampoo, laundry soap, coffee etc.) which was really convenient. Located close to the ferry terminal, Sage's place provided our family with a base to explore Nanaimo and parts of the northern part of the island. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Judy’s place. The house is nice with everything you need. We were so impressed with the little extras that were there such as coffee/tea, spices, oil, vinegars, cold drinks in the fridge, toys and colouring books for kids, a well stocked Kitchen and even bundled paper to start the fire. The yard was perfect for a backyard dinner and a relaxing evening fire. Close to supermarkets, restaurants, and Saturday markets. The beaches in the area are fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of Lindsay's beachfront property. The location is truly unbeatable—nestled right on the coast, with breathtaking ocean views that can be enjoyed both inside and out. Inside, the property is just as impressive. It's thoughtfully decorated, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We will most definitely be back!

A very private well designed and fully stocked cottage like home. Superb deck with amazing view and quite a few steps down to a lengthy rocky beach. Good space for a couple and a bunk room for added persons. Main negative is simply a gravel moderately sloped 'road/path' to your cottage so one simply needs to be able to make the short journey to your great place. Responsive friendly attentive hosts. Recommended

Lacey is a fantastic host. She was very responsive and very clear with her communication. The home is very neat and located on a beautiful plot of land. Access to the lake is a 30 minute walk so have a means of transport ready if you are looking forward to a lake day!

If you love nature, a peaceful environment, clean and very safe neighbourhood for a family spot this is the place! Julia’s beautiful home is just steps away from a scene that looks like just out of postcard! The covered patio was perfect in the hot heat and Great for cool raining nights as you’ll stay comfortable and dry! The view from the patio makes you want to stay a few more days just alone. Food is about 5-10mins away. There’s parks 2-5mins and one that is literally across the street! If you’re planning a trip to Nanaimo, I would highly recommend staying here! As an avid Airbnb renter / explorer I have found Julia’s home to be the cleanest & safest environment. I hope everyone gets a chance to experience this beautiful home. We stopped here on the way to Tofino. We had a great one night stay. The place was spotless and very comfortable. It was also a great stay with a toddler - we had access to a crib, booster seat, and toys, things we did not expect but were extremely grateful for!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

This was a aboslutley beautiful space! The view is breathtaking and the high windows, wood beams and balaconies make the whole thing quite dreamy. There is also a amazing bathtub on the lower floor that overlooks the ocean which was my happy place. They keep the space very clean and well stocked with the key things you may need to make your stay comfortable (shower ammenities, basic kitchen supplies, great towels). I went with my kid, parents, sister and her baby and were quite comfortable with the three bedrooms and large living room/ kitchen. The fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in the evenings as you watch the sunset and birds flying overhead. It is also convenientily located 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The only challenging thing for us was that the home is situated immediately against the street and there is no sidewalk to walk with kids/ to the beach etc. There is also no real backyard for kids to run and play in.

This host is responsible, honest, and thoughtful. The place is very spacious, extremely clean and tidy, and has everything for the guests' comfort, including free tea, coffee, oatmeal, and other basics. Extra bedding, blankets, etc. The host lives upstairs and was very considerate about being quiet. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back!

You want to go to the lakes this place has got it. You want to go to Pender Hill and walk from your place this place has got it. You want to have a fire and chat with good company this place has got it. You want a tastefully Renod place that your significant other is sure to love this place has got it. Awesome spot.
