Such a beautiful house, in such a beautiful town! Breathtaking views, walkable to so many parks, restaurants, and amazing coffee shops. Was such a wonderful experience, and would absolutely book here again! Honestly felt like a dream, could not recommend it enough! Feels like a space for creatives and artists, very inspiring and good energy.

My 5 night stay at Aleida’s in Tarrytown was fantastic. Aleida was a very helpful and friendly host, I felt very at home with her. Aleida always replied to any questions promptly. The house is in a great location, only about 5 minutes walk from the station. It is also very close to the river Hudson, and you can do a beautiful riverside walk to see the Tappan Zee bridge and Sleepy Hollow lighthouse. As a woman travelling on my own, I felt very safe in Tarrytown. A couple of times I got the train back from Grand Central late at night, and I always felt comfortable walking back from Tarrytown station to the house. I also felt safe walking around the town in the evening. It’s a very safe and friendly place, and only a 50 minute train to Grand Central. There are plenty shops and things to do in the town too. I would recommend booking a show at the historic Tarrytown Music Hall - it’s really special. I will miss my chats over breakfast with Aleida and would love to come back one day.

An artistically decorated and very cozy place in which I immediately felt at home. Nadja was a gracious host and so interesting that I would have liked to get to know her better. The room and the bathroom were small (no place to fit my vanity bag), but I didn‘t mind, as Nadja let me hang out in other areas of her house. I loved sitting on the front stoop to relax and knit while facing out onto what seemed a wilderness of trees and bushes. And on one morning I did in fact see the sun rise through the giant picture window of my room. The fact that there is almost constant bridge noise and that there wasn’t a railing for slightly handicapped me to hold on to while ascending the winding slate steps to the house, were quickly forgotten once Nadja and her charming house won me over.

My stay with Gabriel and his family was great. My accommodations were comfortable and spotlessly clean. Claudia was welcoming and flexible with my late (but quiet) evening returns from NYC due to distance and traffic. I would happily stay there again.
