The hosts are SO friendly and helpful! we really enjoyed our stay. This is a very pretty property in a great location, and just a short walk to the beach. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the whole place was just so peaceful and welcoming. Breakfast was included, and it was a really delicious meal. I do recommend you try it!

A BEAUTIFUL oasis and amazing deal. We felt so welcomed by the staff working there, especially Amanda. The grounds were stunning with plans through, the pool was a treat! Breakfast was made fresh and delicious. We loved our private shower outside the room. The yoga studio was stunning and such a great class. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We'll be back!

Great place with easy beach access but worth knowing that you will have to wade through waste deep water to access the beach. However, it was 100% worth it! Staff was great and they are very helpful and kind.

Great tiny apartment, very well furnished with a little terrace. The host was very nice and responded quickly. We saw an agouti in the morning and some wildlife around the apartment !

Severine und ihr Mann Mark waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Unsere Unterkunft auf Stelzen war ein Traum und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Leckeres Frühstück. Wie empfehlen an unsere Freunde diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter

Von Anfang bis Check out ein super schöner Aufenthalt! Alle sehr freundlich, super gute Frühstücksauswahl ( nicht im Preis enthalten, aber das Geld wert) sehr saubere und gepflegte Zimmer und kleine, gepflegte Poolanlage Nur 3 min. zu Fuß zum Strand Ein sehr gutes Restaurant gleich „um die Ecke“. Staying at Lipstick Palms was truly one of the most special and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. The home & amenities are unreal! A stunning retreat with sweeping views of the Pacific, a great breeze and every detail is high-end and thoughtful. Annie and Patrick are the kindest, most gracious hosts—you instantly feel like you’re visiting dear friends or family you adore. Upon request, they prepared a beautiful, elevated meal our first night (that peach cream cake was unreal!) and again on our last night. One evening, we went into town together, played pool at a fun dive bar, had chili guaro shots.m- so fun! They also took us to a wine bar on the ocean where we fed bananas to monkeys at sunset—it was pure magic. The location is perfect, the pool is gorgeous, and we felt so at home the entire time. Annie and Patrick were present but never intrusive—it was the perfect balance. Their care, warmth, and hospitality made this stay something we’ll never forget. Dreaming of coming back!

Scott was a wonderful host! He was so helpful with questions and help during our journey. The cabinas are well-equipped in a very convenient location. Muy pura vida esas cabinas! We would return.

¡Excelente experiencia! El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio, en una zona muy tranquila y segura, ideal para descansar. Además, la ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo lo necesario. Un detalle que me encantó fue que los anfitriones me ayudaron a conseguir descuentos en restaurantes y actividades locales, lo cual hizo que disfrutara aún más mi estadía. ¡Súper recomendado!

Dev’s place was absolutely breathtaking. You have quick access to the main coastal roads, but her private house overlooks the most beautiful rainforest/ocean full of all sorts of Costa Rican birds and animals. The pool was a perfect was to end the day. Felt incredibly safe in her gated property. The host is one of the sweetest ladies you’d ever meet and gave us much-appreciated recommendations and tips about the local area. Highly recommend!

Dominical is a little paradise and this was a great place to enjoy it all. Right across from the Ocean, the sunsets are beautiful and it is just a few minutes walk to town and all the shops and restaurants. I will be back!

Das kleine, schön über San José gelegene Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen! Sauberes Zimmer, großes Bad, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Duschgel etc. alles da. Der Pool seeehr schön, ungeheizt damit man sich abkühlen kann und schön zum liegen und ein selbstgekauftes Bier oä zu genießen. Sogar ne kleine Terrasse hatten wir. Ebenso gibt es sep. Handtücher für den Pool; einfach fragen. Das Frühstück lecker; Pancakes oder Omelette oder French Toast mit Kaffee satt. Abends einen geilen Blick auf das Treiben und die Lichter. Mit Uber super günstig ins Multiplaza (8$) oder zum Flughafen, um 3h nachts (25$). Für einen 2-Nächte Aufenthalt perfekt und in einer sicheren Gegend; das war unser Eindruck.

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia. La atención del personal fue realmente sobresaliente, siempre atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Un reconocimiento especial a Jean Carlos por su gran servicio y disposición, hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. Los únicos aspectos a mejorar son el estado del camino para llegar, que está en mal estado, y la falta de señalización del mismo.

Loved my stay! The cabinas are just a short walk to the beach, super clean, and have everything you need. The pool was a great bonus for relaxing after surfing. The owner and staff were so welcoming and helpful—really made me feel at home. Would definitely stay here again!

I will definitely try to come back and stay here. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. The place was very clean and quiet. I did not care for the pillows. There is a common kitchen with free . Close to bus terminal. I wish there was a Wide Mouth frog sign outside because no walked right by the place. I met people from the hostel and everyone was so nice. Pretty pool area

Ein schönes kleines Haus in sehr ruhiger Gegend umgeben von Weiden. Es ist alles vorhanden was es für einen Aufenthalt von mehreren Tagen benötigt. Am besten gefallen hat uns die Terrasse, von der aus sich die vielen verschiedenen Vogelarten und andere Tiere beobachten lassen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Disfrutamos mucho la estadía en la Van. Todo muy ordenado y limpio. El estilo interno se siente como que andas de road-trip y la verdad es muy agradable. Las instalaciones cuentan con una piscina pequeña al fondo de la propiedad y el lugar en si es como un hostal muy ordenado y agradable. Sebas el anfitrión fue muy comunicativo e inclusive se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos los highlights en un mapa grande de Uvita que tienen en el salón. Lo recomiendo bastante. El único detalle que no está en el listín explicado es que ellos requieren de una tarjeta para hacer el check in y no te permiten quedarte si no la brindas. Esto puede ser un poco incómodo ya que no está explicado en el listín y si no andas el plástico te puede pasar una mala jugada. Pero fuera de eso, increíble lugar que recomiendo además de la comunidad de uvita por supuesto. Big up Sebas! Irie vibes 🤙🏽

Excelente lugar, para descansar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, cerca del volcan de fácil acceso, linda vista, muy tranquilo, los anfitriones excelentes y además te brindan mucha información importante. El desayuno increíble, super recomendado
