Endless hiking and cycling possibilities (junctions) close to the Aa watercourse and old watermill, 2 km from the center of Gierle, AH shop and restaurants. Chalet is perfectly insulated, heating can be electric or with cozy wood stove. Modern kitchen with combi oven, electric fire and dishwasher. Bedroom with double bed and double bunk bed. Tiny house coziness!

Our sunny detached chalet is located on a 450 m² plot, in the middle of the forest on a recreational estate in (Gellik) Belgium. Less than nine kilometers from Maastricht, where we, the hosts, live. The domain borders the Hoge Kempen National Park, where nature lovers can enjoy themselves. The activities are countless: from cycling, hiking, horseback riding, etc. Or a city trip to Maastricht. At the chalet, there is a lockable shed where you can put up to 2 bicycles.

Unique chalet in the middle of the woods, close to numerous hiking and cycling trails. This chalet is a gem for those who love peace and quiet. The domain is fully fenced. You can park the car inside the fence. The chalet has utilities, water, electricity and central heating and has a unique view of the pond. You can spot rare birds such as the kingfisher. Between the woods and heath, you can sleep in this restored Gipsy cart. If you like comfort, nature and privacy, you're here at the right place. The pearl of this region is still the viper, one of the rarest reptiles in Flanders. Besides hiking and biking, the area is also suitable for day trips like visiting the 'Lilse Bergen' in summer (4.1km), the abbey of Westmalle (13km), Lilse Golf & Country (2.2km). Antwerp is also with 40km not very far.
