“The moment you step into this glorious log cabin, you feel like you’ve made a fabulous choice. The host had lit the fire for us, so the smell and the warmth immediately hit you and invite you in. I loved the ambience, it was a very relaxing place to stay. The shower was lovely, and the stones in the shower were very stylish. The only downside, which wasn’t major, was that I slept upstairs and it was hot, even though we had let the fire die down before bed. But there was no way to have the window open in such a way that the wind wouldn’t catch it, or the rain wouldn’t come in. Other than that it was perfect.”

“Fantastic spot only a short drove from Ohakune. Warm and comfortable at any time of the year with the fire they have, would be the perfect spot for anybody chasing the snow! Will definitely recommend to our friends and will keep an eye out to return again once snow is on the mountain. Clean, comfortable, secure and overall a great option for accommodation near Ohakune.”
