Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nazaré

Jane was a terrific person to deal with as we planned our return visit to Foz for our anniversary. Very quick to respond to our queries and offer up suggestions for our trip. Very hands on about the booking, even though she doesn’t live in the local area. Thanks Jane!!

Our stay was very pleasant. Upon arrival, we found the house perfectly prepared and clean. The access instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is an ideal house for groups, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable experience.

A peaceful, rural location. The comfortable king size bed gave us our best few nights' sleep for months. We'd prearranged for a supply of groceries and paid them on our arrival. With a good stock of food and drink we could stay local and take advantage of exploring Ruth & Graham's vast expanse of fields with fig and olive trees and rambled through their wood down to the river. The facilities inside the barn/cottage are faultless, we had good internet connection and my husband was able to fulfill his work commitments and conduct a video conference. The bathroom/shower was spotless with strong water pressure so that just a gentle turn of the tap gave us perfect showers. Every aspect of what a visitor might need has been well thought through and provided. We took gentle strolls along tracks near the neighbouring tree plantations where the smell of eucalyptus was cleansing. I enjoyed their spring flowers and flocks of birds. I baked a cake and shared it with our hosts. Will rebook soon.

I arrived at Bert’s on the day of the national power outage which complicated matters a little (phone signal etc) however Teressa was an absolute star and helped me get settled into Casa Lavanda quickly. After a couple of days in a ‘dodgy’ Lisbon hotel it was wonderful to arrive at Bert’s spacious, peaceful and spotlessly clean house. It was sheer bliss to have a hot shower and then sink into a very comfortable bed! Casa Lavanda is wonderfully equipped, everything is supplied to make your stay a true home-from-home. There is easy access to towns, countryside and beaches - all within a short 15-30 minute drive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Lavanda to all.

Everything was perfect - a clear recommendation from us - we really enjoyed our stay in the cottage on the Atlantic! Daniela is super eager to provide her visitors with a great stay! We will be happy to come back!

Luis and his Mom are amazing hosts, we loved the welcome treats when we got there. The house is very spacious, very nice and with very comfortable beds, with a well stocked kitchen. They have made their backyard look like a resort and we appreciated the nice sound of the waterfall by the pool in the morning. The area is very peaceful and you are away from tourists, yet it is a short drive to Nazare, and other beach towns. We liked staying at their home because we were supporting a family business.

Claire and James are the definition of perfect hosts. Extremely helpful, nice and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. It is a very nice living space, complete with all necessary amenities, plus hot showers, an extra large bed and a well-equipped kitchen - and the wall mounted smart TV was most welcome! This was our favourite place we have stayed. Our dog's too!

It was a wonderful weekend, we went to celebrate our anniversary, it couldn't have been anywhere else, we will definitely be back.

spacious and comfortable and right across from the beach! can't get a better location, literally above and next to many surf shops and schools and walking to grocery store. the host is very responsive. I wish that for the money they provided coffee and dishwasher soap... otherwise really great.

Host and his wife was very friendly and very helpful throughout the entire stay. We were there not quite a month and really enjoyed the location and amenities nearby, while also being convenient to other attractions and major cities such as Porto and Lisbon. The National Park and surroundings were just beautiful. The accommodation was very comfortable and as described. We felt very much at home there and there were many stores nearby for groceries and shopping. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Albert’s apartment in Peniche! As a group of four geology students exploring the region, this place was perfect for us. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great—close to the coast and the incredible geological sites we came to study. Albert was an outstanding host—super friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with local tips and recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Peniche. Thanks again, Albert!

João's place was really great. From personal check in to glass of red wine, the hospitality of him and his family living on the property was a dream. The place itself was clean and very cozy and also the courtyard invited you to relax. From the apartment you can quickly get to Lourinhã a small sweet village with many owner-operated shops. By car you can also get to nearby places and beaches, which were really beautiful. (E.G. Santa Cruz, Peniche, Nazare). We would have liked to stay longer.

Bruno’s apartment is located perfectly to be out of the traffic of the beach promenade, yet close and easy to walk to the beach. There was some construction in surrounding streets so had to drive around a bit to find a way in. But once we figured that out it was super easy. It was quiet at night. Had a great cross breeze through apartment which was nice with no AC. Good pressure and hot water in shower. CLEAN! Yay! Kitchen was clean. Beds fairly comfy. There is a small parking spot in the garage-“C”. Host left juice and cookies for us! So sweet!

Very good apartment, according to the photos. Responsive and proactive host. The train passed, but it was not bothering, infrequency and noise. A quiet, quiet neighborhood. It had all the stuff and clean barbecue grills. Very good bed. We advise you to buy water for consumption, as tap water is hard, proper to the region. We will certainly return if we visit S. Martinho again.
