Holiday houses in Nea Presos

Theodora‘s house is very spacious and the interior is as shown in the pictures. There is a lot of beautiful little spaces corners around the house to sit and relax, enjoy the sun and landscape. The little garden is a nice add-on, there are orange and apple trees, sadly we just missed the oranges being ripe by a few days when we were there:). For a few days during our stay, there was quite a strong wind on this part of the island but the house offers some secluded spots outside where you can still hang out and have breakfast/coffee etc. The bed is super comfy and the kitchen offered all appliances you need and more! We had a really great time, Theodora was very helpful with everything. Thanks!:)

Iosif is a wonderful host. Not only as a welcome, but also in between, there was always fresh fruit and delicacies from the region. Iosif also informed and advised us on events and activities in the area. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view of the bay. A beautiful place to relax and explore the surroundings.

It was a pleasure and a nice experience to stay at Thanos's place! A perfect place for those who prefer to experience real Crete beyond the tourist crowds and in a peaceful way. The small village is adorable, the local tavern is amazing, the location also suits well for setting up a base to explore the island - the peaceful, distant beaches are just a 30-50 minutes drive away. The place itself is a gem, if you appreciate an experience to stay in the authentic surroundings and the host was always responsive and very welcoming! Would return there next time for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

Wow!!! This windmill and all of the surroundings are pure MAGIC. We had the most phenomenal time, and felt like we were in a fairytale. Also, the restaurants in the area are phenomenal. Maria is a fabulous, kind, super helpful host as well. You must book the windmill - you won’t regret it!

Armeni is a small village located in a Cretan mountains plateau. Stone Mansion, placed at the calm edge of the village, is a beautiful summer house, deserving its name. It hosts 3 apartments, with a large common yard/terrace. I was the only guest at the time, so I had all the luxury just for myself. The terrace itself and the surroundings offer majestic sky views with hypnotic sounds of pristine nature (frogs?) at night. In the morning, you are greeted with the calling of hysterical roosters. An authentic, rural, countryside at its best. The rooms are cosy, spacious and airy, modern, and fully equipped for a comfortable life. The nearest coast is located ~20 minutes by car, I loved a little bit more distant Xerokampos for its diverse beaches, dubbed "Greek Maldives". Eva and her mom were genuinely warm and forthcoming as hosts, even though we met just briefly. Greeted me with fruit and homemade cookies, communicated well on chat. This was despite my late notice and on Sunday. Thanks!<3

We had an exceptional time at Maria's. The house is beautiful, perched in a small preserved hamlet. Everything is perfect, nothing is missing for you to be comfortable and especially the decoration is splendid. The kitchen equipment, the quality of the linen: everything is tasteful and appreciable. We were welcomed like royalty, the fridge was full, it was incredible. In addition, we shared several meals with Elsa, Adonis, her husband and locals. These were moments of great friendship, where we were able to discuss Greek culture and music. Don't miss this place, it's an unforgettable experience. Once again, Greek hospitality takes on its full meaning.

I have only good things to say about this home, I was extremely happy with my stay here. The space is clean, comfortable and thoughtfully created. The hosts are warm and provided incredible Cretan hospitality. I felt really relaxed and welcomed through the whole stay. The village is something special with a kind of character and old world charm that makes this island a treasure. The surrounding areas are breathtaking and I believe the beaches nearby might be some of the best on the island. Maria was so generous sharing her suggestions of places to visit, always responsive and kind. Anna greeted me personally on arrival, gifting me amazing baked goods and some of the smoothest raki I’ve ever tasted. If you have the opportunity to stay here you absolutely should, it is the kind of place that you will always remember fondly. Thank you Anna and Maria!
