Fleetwood is charming! The two bedrooms are big and comfortable. The photos are clear that the third bed is a pull out sofa. The kitchen is big and easy to make a meal for a larger group. Kristen is very responsive, helpful and flexible. Thank you!

We loved staying at Leora's place. Would definately stay again! Me and my family were very comortable and loved the surroundings! My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful time on the canoes that were provided at the lake close by and really loved the scenery. When we were settled in after many outings, it was so nice to relax on the deck and screened in porch and also enjoy the board games that were provided. The place was very spacious and had everything that you would need. Wish we could of stayed longer!

“The Small House” was exactly what we needed, a peaceful place to rest. The house was a great size with a lot of charm and character. Two great living spaces and a deck. The beds were comfortable, soft but firm. Nice hot showers with good pressure. The property was beautiful and the creek was bigger than expected. The location was also beautiful. We saw quite a bit of wildlife on the way. We walked to the market just down a little and across the street. There were restaurants and ice cream nearby. Also, opportunities for a great hike. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

This home and hosts are both rare gems, from the ease of checking in to the homes beautiful ambiance, its makes a great place to get away and enjoy nature. We would love to come back and explore more of the trails and wineries.

We had a lovely stay during my daughter's wedding weekend. The home is well equipped with much of what anyone could need during a weekend away. The decor is welcoming and not overdone. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, relax, and hang out. The outdoor space is especially nice!

This property was just perfect for a weekend meeting up with old friends for a local wedding. The area is gorgeous and peaceful, and the porches in the front and back of the house are a lovely sitting area to spend time. The layout of the house is great and feels spacious while also being cozy. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is only one bathroom - certainly not a dealbreaker but it required some juggling with 6 people in the house. Overall 10/10 and we were reluctant to leave!

Our spring weekend at the Critzer House was all that we hoped and more. Super clean and plenty of room for everyone to be together, and apart when we wanted; a gas grill to fix barbecue at home; and a lovely fire pit to enjoy in the evening. The location is perfect for those that want to enjoy all that the Nelson 150 Craft Beverage Trail has to offer. Can't recommend enough as the perfect place to stay!

Camille's place at Wintergreen was perfectly situated for our weekend at Devil's Backbone. The house was clean and tidy, it was easy to find, and her directions and instructions for getting there and getting in the house were spot on. it's an adorable little place and has plenty of room with the three bedrooms. We would love to come back and rent again. Our dog loved it too!!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house was even bigger and cozier than I anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We loved being on the same property as Cardinal Point Winery and walked down to do a tasting/enjoy some bottles. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we could have needed and the pool area was great!

This place was great! Conveniently located with tons of things to do, many walkable from the condo. The photos and descriptions were super accurate and our dogs even felt welcomed! We appreciated the convenience of The Market, The Edge, Upper Crust, and really enjoyed all of the Memorial Day activities that Dave ad Paige let us know were happening. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventuring. Dave and Paige were super hosts all the way around. We'd love to come back here again!

Everything was perfect! The place is clean, quiet and cozy! Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked and the place was super clean!! We had a wonderful time while we were in town visiting family. Great location too!! Will definitely stay again if I am ever back in the area. Thank you for being a super wonderful host, Sara. You made my family feel right at home!

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

We stayed at Stacey's place for a weekend wedding. Right from the start, she was a fantastic host - friendly, helpful, great recommendations, responsive. Her place looked even better than the photos! Some of my favorite things about the home: gorgeous and unique outdoor space, loads of amenities and supplies, central location, awesome nature setting, great layout, beautiful/modern feel. Would stay here again without question!

My wife and I really enjoyed a weekend getaway at Mikki’s place. The condo has a great location with beautiful views and access to nearby Wintergreen amenities, and we took advantage of the less than 20 minute drive to multiple of the Nelson 151 breweries. Mikki is very responsive and we appreciated her recommendations and help in getting us get access to a nearby pool. Would stay again!

We stayed here for my daughter’s college graduation and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The condo was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of four. We didn’t spend much time there (graduation weekends are a blur), but it had everything we needed. It’s about an hour from Lynchburg, Virginia, and the location was ideal for us. Quiet, convenient, and a great fit for our weekend plans. The host was wonderful—responsive, flexible, and easy to communicate with. They helped us adjust our reservation and answered all our questions before and during our stay. I have nothing but praise. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a well-kept, stress-free place to stay.

Words cannot describe the feeling of pure calm that comes over you when you arrive. This place is truly a treasure hidden in the woods. Once you cross the creek you leave the world and all your cares behind. The host pays attention to all the little details and it shows. We have stayed at quite a few places but this one is on our return list. We look forward to sliding up for a long weekend in the late fall or early winter. (Tip- be sure to spend 15 min reading the welcome package it is time well spent).

Great peaceful place with amazing view and wild visitors from time to time. We've stayed 2 times at this house, perfect location for enjoying Blue ridge mountains area. There is a good variety of wineries and etc nearby for having delicious dinners, thanks for some recommendations from host. We did bbq and enjoyed atmosphere. Definitely going to stay at this place again! Thanks!

Cozy, adorable little cottage close to downtown! It has everything you need for a short or long stay, and plenty of room for a doggo. Amazing shower and cozy bed! Only ‘complaint,’ which is not even one, is that it got chilly inside at night and the heater was a bit difficult to use to raise the heat. Overall a wonderful weekend stay!

We stayed here for a wedding in Charlottesville and, while the cabin was a bit out of the way from where most guests were staying in town, it ended up being the best decision we made. Our group was too large for hotel rooms, and this cabin gave us the perfect place to spread out and relax. We honestly wished we had more time to enjoy the space itself—it's ideal for a peaceful getaway weekend. Unfortunately, wedding events kept us running around, but we could easily see ourselves coming back just to unwind and take it all in. The property offers plenty to do, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. A couple of small suggestions that would’ve helped us (specifically as guests getting ready for a wedding): a full-length mirror in the downstairs bathroom and some brighter lighting in the bathrooms for hair and makeup. That said, these things wouldn’t be an issue for a regular weekend trip. Overall, a charming cabin that we hope to return to when we can truly enjoy it!

We had a great stay in Scottsville with the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The property is gorgeous, especially during the sunrise with the sheep all gathered around in the field in front of the cottage, a truly relaxing and picturesque place. Coming from a city, this was a great way to spend a long weekend away from the noise, we loved visiting this part of the county and definitely want to come back. Short drive to breweries, wineries, and hiking trails up towards Shenandoah NP.

You don’t need many word for this place because it is STUNNING. Wonderful one day stay but goodness so worth it!

We visited Charlottesville (Afton) for my nephew's high school graduation, staying for four days and three nights. The view from our cabin was stunning! Our host was friendly and very responsive during our communications online. The check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and easy to follow. I highly recommend this host! If you choose to book with them, make sure to visit Blue Mountain Brewery—you won't be disappointed!
