Staying at Mandy’s place was such a comfort. I chose it because it’s just up the road from my parents, but it quickly became more than just a convenient spot - it truly felt like a home away from home. Safe, peaceful and thoughtfully set up with everything you might need. Access was simple and shops are close by, which made things even easier. What really stood out was Mandy herself. You can tell she genuinely cares - she’s listened to feedback, added thoughtful touches throughout the place and goes out of her way to help. I was having a braai and mentioned it in passing and next thing I knew she was at the door with tongs and a grid brush. It’s that kind of kindness that stays with you. And then there’s Phoebe and Lily, her gorgeous dogs, who add so much warmth and joy. They made me smile every day. This stay felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, not just booking a place to sleep. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Our family traveled down to GQ for the first timeto attend the nation baseball championships, so did not know what to expect. The area is beautiful and there are many great restaurants to visit. The apartment served us perfectly as we were only there in the evenings. The apartment is newly renovated and well set up for a couple to enjoy their stay. The 2nd bedroom is a tight fit but for a family with a small child, this room is perfect. The small attention to details is what lifts this apartment above the rest. The flexible check-in time and the warm welcome recieved on arrival was the start to a great break away.

I had a lovely stay, it was beautiful, clean and located in a quiet apartment complex, which made it very relaxing. The location was great-close to amenities and convinient for getting around. The only downside was the swimming pool which is directly in front of the restaurant, which made it awkward to use, so we ended up not swimming. Other than that, everything was wonderful and well maintained.

It has been wonderful for us and our family to stay in your apartment. We will miss visiting our family in the same complex. It has been so super convenient. Huge thanks and all the very best and continued good occupancy.

We enjoyed our stay. Good location for us as family nearby. We used the pool. Everyone was friendly and the security sorted us out with facial recognition to get through the barriers. Good communication from hosts. We will use again when we visit.

Had an amazing stay at Thomas' place. The home is beautiful, has everything you need for your stay as well as being in a great location close to the beach, restaurants and anything you might need. Thomas is an awesome host. I never had to ask for anything because he already had everything covered. He is a very responsive and accommodating host. I highly recommend this home and would definitely love to stay at this home again next time i visit the city.

Desiree was very flexible with our check in time as we were driving down from Cape Town, she made sure to check in to make sure she was available for when we arrived. Great communicator and we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, exceeding our expectations. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the mall.

It was a pretty good user experience, as this was my first time using Airbnb app & booked on the day upon arriving in PE with my family. Very attentive and friendly host. Quick message response. The home had everything you needed, it was cosy & very welcoming. It was amazing to be in walking distance of the beach. It was clean with fresh towels even though we brought our own with. The only low score I would give is shops like looking for a woolworths is quite a stretch to drive but otherwise basic convienant stores were in the area where we were staying. There were alot of rules and we tried our best to stick to them consistently. Our host even booked a cleaning lady for us, even though Im OCD and cleaned. This was such a kind gesture. We would definately love to book this home again in the future.

We had a pleasant stay; Angie and Peter are hospitable and generous hosts. Aloe Cottage is a home away from home with very beautiful and peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for affordable, family-friendly accommodation.

Lovely house! Very spacious! Electric Blankie for the cold! Massive TV (and I don’t even watch TV) but it complimented the space well. Many seating areas!

Tebogo’s Airbnb was perfect for our family vacation and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The place is much bigger than you see in the photos which was lovely for us as it didn’t feel crammed. I’d definitely recommend it and will be coming back.

We had a pleasant stay at Nigel/Surekha’s place. It was spotless clean 👌🏽 it was super safe because I could lock the main gate on my own, the neighbourhood itself is safe because I could walk to nearby restaurants. The place looked exactly like in the photos and everything works perfectly fine. The host was very quick to respond and very friendly 🥰, the only think I didn’t like was that we couldn’t find the mop that’s it. I highly recommend this accommodation, you won’t regret it. 🙏🏽

Though we were travelling on business it was great to wake up to an ocean sunrise. The walk along the beach in the morning was refreshing and clear. This is a great place to stay, it’s not so far to a number of super restaurants ( bit too far to walk though). The kitchen is well appointed in case you’d rather cook at home. With both a washing machine & dryer, you can easily do your laundry too. The dolphins in the bay were the icing on the cake on our last morning. We’d definitely stay here again given the opportunity and would recommend it to others.

We had the most incredible weekend getaway in Port Elizabeth, and staying at Heather's apartment was the highlight! The lovely sea views and the way the sunlight poured into the space gave the whole experience a perfect summer holiday vibe. Heather was also an extremely gracious and accommodating host, making sure everything worked with our schedule and ensuring we felt right at home. The apartment was beautifully maintained, and it might be our best experience in PE yet. Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

New meaning to "Home away from Home". Was a great stay. Heather checked in with us before we planned to arrive, gave us instructions on who will meet us, everything was done to precise details. Upon arrival, we were welcomed, shown where was what and how. The place was clean, neat and tidy. Well appointed with all the necessary equipment. Overall was a great stay, will definitely look for this place again when in the area. Thanks for the great stay! Home away from Home.....
