Waterfront holiday rentals in Nepal

Perfect deal. Pretty noisy in the mornings, but you can just wear some earplugs and that's it. the place is way bigger than I expected WiFi works but is not the best, comes and goes pretty often. very clean and the host very responsive. I liked the place, I would stay again.

If you want to experience true Nepali home experience in budget this is the place. The hosts were so kind to even offer me with their home made foods that I loved. They also engage you with their own family members if you are interested and that gave me an opportunity to explore Nepalese home closely. One of the most kind and humble people I have ever met. They’re so responsive and always looking out for how they can help me. I wish them all the best and I hope many people discover this place to experience very local of Nepal. The place is newly renovated and everything was very pristine and clean as in the picture. Thank you to host Anu and her husband for making my stay fun and comfortable.

Perfect place to spend a few days. Very friendly and helping staff. Close to everything you need- Cute Vegan Restaurants and Coffees, Gift Shops where you can find almost everything from warm Clothes to daily basics... the Host provides amazing veggie food as well. I would definitely recommend this Accommodation!! - and I would also return to anything I am close by! If you like Yoga, Nature and the pure joy of Life- this spot would be may your place to be!

The room I got looks exactly the same as in the photo. I also had a chance to experience the local culture, like people marching on the street and singing. Whenever I send a message, the host replies quickly and handles everything very efficiently :)

Wonderful homestay and wonderful hosts. Both Sapana and Sandip are kind, considerate and very friendly. Had great food both at their home and their family run restaurant in Pokhara lakeside. Wish to visit again.

I had a long-term stay in Bhaktapur from October thru June and living in this Airbnb was perfect. Rajan made me feel like a member of the family, and I felt I had an authentic Nepali experience. Rajan and his family were very responsive to my questions and needs, and communicated well. The room looks exactly like the photos, and was clean, comfortable, and private. Food was great. The Airbnb is in a central location of Bhaktapur and easily walkable to the main sites. Will miss staying with this family and in this homestay. I highly recommend this place for those visiting Bhaktapur!

Ajuna's homestay was like an oasis in the middle of a desert! Ajuna and Sushil treated me like family from the first day I came there. They have a big beautiful house in a very private residential neighborhood with many wonderful neighbors who speak English and are extremely friendly. I got very sick while in Nepal and if it was not for their family nursing me back to health and showing me around I don't know what I would have done! You can choose from several different rooms to sleep in and breakfast is included but for a small fee they will also provide lunch and dinner and there is laundry service as well. Their children and grandmother who lives with them I have a joy to be around and I never felt so at home. The simple flavorful food was very delicious. One of the features that their neighborhood is very centrally located so you can hit the busy night life and come home to your own little apartment where there was never a lack of hot water and always a comfy bed.I never wanted for anything and if there was something I needed they were always more than happy to help me, take me somewhere or show me around as they also own a travel into a guide agency! They have become good friends just like family and I hope to stay there again!

We had a fantastic time at this homestay. Getting there was a little tricky because the house wasn't located where the airbnb map said it would be. We were able to work this out because our taxi driver called Ramakanta for location details, but I would recommend confirming location while you still have wifi or just having Ramakanta pick you up. The house was architecturally stunning, beautifully decorated, and relaxing. We had the best afternoon naps. Ramakanta and his wife were wonderful hosts, constantly making us feel welcomed and making sure we were fed. Ramakanta is someone who is proud of his family and his village. The feeling of positivity was infectious throughout the whole stay. I definitely recommend this location if you are looking to escape the tourist heavy areas and understand Nepali farm life (but while being catered to and with hot showers). Our jungle walks with Ramakanta were the highlight of our whole trip. I personally was looking for a way to experience Chitwan without contributing to any unethical treatment of animals. Ramakanta offered us real and raw exposure to Chitwan. Overall fantastic stay and a perfect addition to our otherwise "on the grid" Nepal vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay at Timon’s and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Pokhara, especially with the beautiful lake views as you are right there. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was an air conditioner if needed. Timon also recommended a local restaurant who would deliver meals etc as needed. Their food was delicious! Timon was very considerate and couldn’t do enough to help with whatever was needed.

Absolutely loved staying at Sagun’s place, the place is beautiful and spacious with a perfect view of the lake and a seating area in the balcony to enjoy the view with a warm cup of coffee. Sagun is responsive, and helpful, would definitely recommend staying at his place!
