Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nerja

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

Lovely traditional house in a fantastic location. Great outside areas with beautiful views. Kitchen had everything one could need. Everything was very clean and there were plentiful supplies of towels and comfortable beds. Perfect!

Fantastic and Excellent!!! Victor is friendly and an excellent communicator. The accommodation; Better than photos. with secure parking by the front door. Entrance then split level. First floor has a full size kitchen with a door leading to a BBQ area. A toilet. A dinning area and sofa area with big sliding doors with a lovely view and balcony with an out door table for six people. The next floor has a bathroom/ toilet etc, three bedrooms with one having an on suite bathroom. All bedroom are on the pool level with sun loungers and jacuzzi. It’s a great place to swim and sunbathe. Relaxing, great restaurants. Perfect. Lots to do and within driving distance to major water activities / Dolphin tours. We hired a boat, no license needed for small motor boat, dolphins swam next to the boat, It was amazing. Large Shopping plaza one hour drive through the hills, smaller ones closer. Yes there is a McDonalds, Lidl,Aldi and Spanish supermarkets. Old town near the castle. Will be back!

Amazing place to relax. We recommend it!

Beautiful apartment with a fantastic view from the large terrace. Two spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with bath and 1 with shower), great kitchen with lots of (cooking)stuff. Also a spacious living room with sitting and dining area. There are many extra things in the house: beach umbrella, sun loungers, lots of towels, kitchen items etc. The enclosed complex has a beautiful garden and large swimming pool with lawn around it. Beach and restaurants are in walking distance. Only downside (if we have to mention something) is that the garage has very small parking spaces, but there was plenty of space on the public road!

Great terrace and outdoor area - the view is indescribable. The only shortage in the apartment was basic cleaning supplies, dish brushes, dishwashing tabs, etc. The location is unique and has good local shopping and restaurants. The coffee shop in front of the apartment is clearly recommendable. We'd love to come back.

A perfect host and a perfect apartment.

Ramón was the best of hosts. Friendly, helpful and really went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. The apartment is exactly as described, if not better. Very well equipped and they have really thought of everything you might need to make it feel more like home. I would highly recommend this fabulous apartment and will be returning for sure! Perfect stay! The apartment is large, conveniently located and the view to the balcony is simply wonderful. There are several amenities and we have everything we need in this apartment (very well equipped kitchen, everything he does to do laundry, etc.). The host is super kind and responds quickly. A 100% rating, I recommend it without hesitation!

We felt at home, everything was super clean and tidy. The kitchen was not lacking in detail, you had utensils for everything. The beach is super close, supermarkets like Mercadona and Lidl are super close, as well as parking. Diego is very attentive and responsive to messages, we definitely recommend him. We stayed at this beautiful place for four days. The village is secluded and only accessible via a bumpy road. But you are in a beautiful hiking area and have a great house away from the hustle and bustle. Right next door is a small restaurant with nice Belgian owners. It's even nicer than the photos. Overall, great recommendation.

Very nice apartment, spacious, pleasant, with in addition the nice little terrace on the roof. Please note that you have to climb a nice staircase, 4 (high) floors, a little steep.

This place is better than the photos! We loved the home and the location. Araceli was a great host and incredibly responsive! If you’re thinking about booking this house, do it!

Communications with Maria and Oliver before we arrived was excellent, in particular the directions given to us were above the normal. We were really greatful to have them when the satnav got lost. When we arrived we were greeted by Maria who gave us a tour of the premises, showing us where everything was. The welcome gifts were very nice. The cottage is ideally located just a short walk from the town centre. The views from the cottage are absolutely breathtaking- you wake up every morning to the majestic mountains surrounding you. The nearby trails are perfect for those who love hiking and nature. It is only a short driving distance to many beautiful beaches and coastal towns. The cottage itself was a cozy haven, very quiet, clean and comfortable with lovely shower room, airconditioner, TV and other useful items. Having the use of the pool, was great in the hot weather. Carlos greeted us late in the evening which was reassuring. Apartment peaceful (early October) with a great pool. Short walk to beach and Nerja old town centre.

Place was outstanding! We had such a good time - area fantastic. The home was lovely, outstanding views, beautiful pool area, outside dining area also with incredible view. We loved it there and had a fabulous time in La Herradua. Great beach community. Patricia’s responsiveness was appreciated as were her spot on suggestions! Read her book on the place - super helpful ! Can’t wait to return !

This apartment is truly a place to relax and recharge! Super quiet and with a beautiful green environment. There is a lemon tree in the garden and occasionally mountain goats came by to graze. The terrace is a dream, the view of the sea and the different moods of daylight is simply magical. Brigitte, who looked after us, was always very friendly, helpful and responded immediately. The path to the sea and then back was rather too long with our kids, so we usually took the car and used the numerous parking spaces directly on the sea. The surroundings are picturesque and since we were there in May, we could marvel at the beautiful flowers. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back or recommend the apartment:-)

We stayed a week here to work from the apartment. Wifi worked perfectly + host is super friendly and helpful if you need something. Really enjoyed the apartment and especially the beautiful, sunny terrace! Only a 5 min walk (only stairs) to the beach, where quite a few restaurants, good bakery and a small supermarket is located. And a 20 min walk to the citycenter. So, everything is walking distance. Would definitely recommend it!

What a find! We stayed with our two children and the flat made a brilliant base. It’s much better than the photos and Guadalupe is a really kind and helpful host. As it says that you can smoke I was worried it would smell, but i don’t think anyone has ever smoked inside and it was lovely and clean. Great value for money and we’d definitely make a return visit.

We had a great stay at Patrick’s place (despite the rain) and felt right at home. The apartment is just as described and works perfectly for a family of 4 - plenty of space, great kitchen and clean bathrooms. The views from the apartment have to be the best, looking straight out to sea from a number of large windows. It is an easy walk Into Nerja old town and down to the beach even with two small children (stayed with a 1 & 4 year old). Would recommend!

Excellent stay at Tim and Helga's, who were welcoming and friendly hosts, as well as their 3 dogs! The barn is a peaceful place, the terrace is nice and enjoying the pool is really enjoyable. Nigüelas is a charming village within walking distance and a starting point for visiting Granada and its surroundings, the white villages of the Alpujarras...

Frigliana a beautiful mountain village close to bustle of Nerja and Magaly's appt is certainly a fantastic 5 stars place to stay. Great facilities, especially with pool and large terrace and fabulous views. Looking forward to going back.

Karliens villa is gorgeous, a great size for a small family. It’s located very close to Burriana beach, which has a great selection of restaurants and bars. The villa itself has a great sized pool and very generous outside terrace space. The kitchen was well equipped for our weeks stay and Karlien was very quick in getting back to us with any questions we had. The only thing I would state on here is walking to Nerja centre is slightly longer with a pram as you cannot walk the beach way. This would take 30 minutes which doesn’t bother us but maybe could be quite far for some without a car. Would definitely return.
