On cold days, the wood-fired hypocaust heating radiates a cozy warmth, and on warm days the large, old linden tree provides cool shade on the courtyard.

A break from the noise of the city at the secluded organic farm Schwarzenberg: The farmhouse is located at 1,000 meters above sea level. M. in the heart of the Gantrisch Nature Park, in the triangle between Thun, Bern, and Fribourg. In addition to Irene and Christian, there are twelve Angus suckler cows with their calves and three Bündner Strahlen goats. 20 chickens and two young cats on the farm.
