Waterfront holiday rentals in New Cairo City

This is a really lovely and spacious apartment. We arrived at night and were actually emotional to wake up the next morning and see the great pyramids of giza and the nile river from the large terrace! Omar left us food in the freezer and was incredibly available when we had trouble getting hot water. The neighborhood is not much. You have to walk quite far to find anything like shops or supermarkets or cafe's (though just around the corner is a terrific restaurant called Dragon House that offers chinese, thai and indian food.) There are hundreds of stray dogs that live in the streets and howl at night. The apartment is like a wonderful oasis in a dirty building and grim neighborhood. But these issues are not Omar's fault or responsibility of course. A great host!

A residence that matches the advertisement, a safe and quiet location overlooking the Nile, close to restaurants and shops, the treatment of the administrators of the residence is wonderful and quick response in the event of observations, I was happy to stay and I want to repeat the experience.

As stated by others great choice for an AirBnb in Egypt. Comments: Zamalek is a higher end neighborhood in Egypt which feels less crowded, is notably peaceful in the evenings and full of coffee shops, pastry shops etc. Restaurant choices in hotels and around the area are nice though not numerous. Seems like several non-Egyptians live here and people are very nice. So for location it’s a great choice. The apartment is perfect if you want to stay in this location and use it as a hub for your stay. Dryers are not a thing in Egypt so don’t expect one. Otherwise there is nothing missing. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room. As a host, Ayman is exactly who you want and the best part is he stocks some essentials to help get you started. Great grocery stores within a less than 5 minute leisurely stroll. Elevators small and only one functioning but this had zero impact on us. Area is clearly very safe. Overall would certainly stay again.

Excellent location! Communicating with Kareem was seamless. I loved the area , no need for an Uber, as groceries and dining options are all within a 5-minute walk.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

My family and I had a great time staying at Ahmed’s place. The place was spacious and very comfortable and has a great view. It is very close to some wonderful restuarants which are all about 5 - 10 walk away. Ahmed was a great host and very prompt in responding to any questions I had. Definately worth the money. One point to raise and this is beyond Ahmed's control they closed the walk way along the Nile. Appears they doing some work so you could not use the walk way right next to the Nile. This did not destract from the great time we had. Would recommend this place.

Mr nasr & Ahmed were really helpful and kind with the instructions to the house and when we got there the place was really clean and honestly the location is just perfect not hard to find at all, this is definitely not my last visit there 🌟

Inas was very responsive and helped us alot. She allowed us to check in early and check out late. Everything was great and access to the pool and garden was just perfect for the kids. Location is great.
