I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Schuhchen’s home. The room was comfortable, clean and airy and this beautiful home is in a serene wooded setting that includes an abundance of native plants and wildlife. Schuhchen is a great host and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet her. I will definitely stay again the next time I’m visiting the area.

We were coming to Brodhead for a funeral so we were looking for something in town. Brodhead was a nice place to walk around. Plenty of small places to eat, we asked Diane for a recommendation and that turned out well. In terms of location, perfect. In terms of how was our room, perfect as it was spacious with wonderful tall ceilings and extremely clean. The shared kitchen area is bright and inviting and in warmer weather (which it wasn't for us) there is an very nice patio outside the kitchen. Great value for price and we found it very homey and comfy. Thanks Diane!

The location and home were great. The view from every corner was scenic. We were able to watch wildlife and take quiet walks around the lake and on the nature trail. There were lots of games to play inside but we enjoyed the beautiful weather and spent our time outside on the lake in the paddle boat and kayaks. The kitchen was plenty big and we were also able to spread out in the other rooms for alone time. We will definitely be back.

Melissa was wonderful to work with, allowed us to enter early to ensure we made graduation requirements on time. She was always positive in her responses. She gave suggestions of things to do, we had a campfire one evening, grilled out a few times. We had everything we needed during our stay.
