MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Beach House on Bras d’Or Lakes

Each person after the first 2, will be charged an additional $30/night. Due to the delicate nature of rural utilities, only paying guests are welcome to use the property. No gatherings or parties. The Bunkie is a STAND ALONE structure, separate from the Beach House. Consider this if traveling with young kids. This cozy bunkie (10’ x 14’) sports a comfy King sized bed, vaulted ceiling, great views and a covered deck. THIIS IS THE ONLY CLIMATE CONTROLLED AREA at the property.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Full bathroom with walk-in shower. Private yard and BBQ. Adirondack chairs with private firepit and screened-in porch. FAST Starlink WIFI, shampoo, soaps provided. Leashed dogs A-ok!🐕 Free firewood may be provided, check with host! 😊 Driveway is steep but well maintained. No bikes, please.

We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.
