Beach house holiday rentals in New London

The Ashford Lake cottage was absolutely perfect for our sister birthday weekend! The hot tub, fire pit, screened in porch, and dock all were perfect for catching up, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and everything was extremely clean. Jason was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can't recommend this cottage enough and hope to visit again in the future!

This was our second stay. The house is cute and comfortable. Nice outdoor space with a sandy beach area and shallow lake entry. Jena is great to work with.

I had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb beach house. The views were absolutely immaculate, turning every moment into a picture perfect scene. The property was not only impeccably clean but also radiated a sense of peacefulness that immediately helped me disconnect from the hustle of daily life. Every detail was thoughtfully curated from the comfortable bedding that guaranteed a night of uninterrupted sleep to the high quality toiletries that added a touch of luxury to my routine. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals whenever I wished, and the fast WiFi ensured that I could seamlessly blend work and leisure as needed. A true highlight was the friendly welcome with a customized snack basket that set a warm, personal tone right from the start. Additional amenities, such as a cozy fireplace perfect for evening gatherings, stylish decor that elevated the overall ambiance, and easy access to local attractions, truly made my stay unforgettable. I will be returning.

The house was very clean, with a beautiful, large, well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely and it was wonderful hanging out on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. The house would be a little more practical if one of the bedrooms had two beds, so more people could sleep in the actual bedrooms. The pull out beds were not as comfortable and the bed in the loft is only accessible with a ladder. However, for a small group or people who aren’t picky about their sleeping arrangements it is a fantastic place to stay. You can’t beat the view and proximity to the water!

This place really was a zen oasis, as described. It was peaceful, quiet and clean. The waterfront views were amazing. The space is clean and cozy and exactly as advertised. The porch overlooking the water was such a a relaxing place to chill out. Medhi was an amazing host even offering us complimentary early check in and late check out. I can't say enough great things about this stay and we will be back soon.

Alexis welcomed us at her gorgeous Airbnb. The place is very well though and practical. It is soothing and relaxing. I would recommend this opportunity anytime, and looking forward to come back soon! Excellent experience for a reasonable price!

Joanne's waterfront home is an incredible oasis. Even the pictures do not do it justice. Our family had a wonderful week-long stay in her beautifully appointed home. Joanne's home is meticulously clean and decorated with wonderful touches. We had plenty of room and loved soaking up the sun every day on the fabulous wraparound porch (with built-in umbrellas) and jumping right into the water mere steps from the house. We cannot wait to return next year!

We had a lovely stay at Karine’s cute house! The kitchen was very nicely outfitted, beds were super comfortable, and the big wood-burning fireplace was excellent! We appreciated all the cool artwork around the house, and Karine’s wonderful photography book! We got to enjoy lots of bird life, and we were lucky to have a bit of snow. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lovely big deck and yard!

We loved staying at this home - it was the perfect place for our group of ten. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight, with the pool & spa being our favorite part of the trip. The only thing to note is that we weren’t supplied quite enough toilet paper or paper towels, though I did not reach out for more - It was the last evening when we ran out and we were leaving early the next morning. The trash requirements were a surprise after booking, but going to the transfer station was easy enough, and it is listed on the house rules. Overall, an excellent stay and would absolutely return!

Beautiful home, very clean, spacious and comfortable to stay with the family. We used the grill on multiple occasions and it was easy to use. The fire pitt was also enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked, would bring own source of caffeine if you’re picky with your coffee though. Stephen, the host was very responsive and easy to reach when asked questions. The one thing I would recommend is to check in with the host if the pool is available to use prior to booking. Overall a great experience, would stay with them again.

Went with family for a weekend trip. Tracy and Patrick’s home is lovely, very beautiful and well maintained. And everyone enjoyed including my kid who found a lot of toys to play.

We had the most beautiful weekend stay at Tim’s home! Everything is accurately described and the pool and hot tub were amazing!! All the beds were very comfortable. Was perfect for a 5 girl weekend getaway!! Tim was incredibly communicative and checking in was a breeze. The location is PERFECT in East Hampton!! So many amazing restaurants and bars nearby. 100% will stay here again for my next Hamptons trip. Thank you so much Tim!!

Ben is a super host. His home is absolutely beautiful and well managed. His thoughtful recommendations and well timed check ins and reminders were the height of polished professionalism. We felt right at home, down to the bins of toys in the living room that our toddler and baby played with every day.

Dewey’s place is such a dream! Everything is freshly renovated and just feels so crisp, clean, and stylish. You can tell so much love went into the design it’s the perfect mix of modern and cozy. We felt right at home the second we walked in. The kitchen is gorgeous, the bathrooms are spa-like, and every little detail was just so well thought out. Dewey was the sweetest host super responsive and made everything totally seamless. The location is amazing too quiet and peaceful, but still close to all the fun spots (beach, town, restaurants). We didn’t want to leave! Already planning our next trip back. If you’re thinking about booking, do it you’ll love it just as much as we did!

We had a lovely stay at Eric's home. The home exceeded our expectations and we felt right at home. The decor was warm and inviting. Everything you could possibly need was in the stunning, modern kitchen. The beds were all comfortable and we slept very well. The property was very peaceful. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys and hawks each day. The fixtures in the home were modern, clean and high-end. It was great being so close to Greenport with it's wonderful restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return.

We had an absolute PERFECT stay here! First off- the house. This home is so charming in every way. We loved the way it’s decorated and laid out, and it’s so cozy, clean and beautiful. You are truly able to relax here. Also, the bed is extremely comfortable, the water pressure is great, and the A/C works very well. However, perhaps the best part of this house is the view! There are sliding doors in the living room and bedroom, and the view of the lake is breathtaking. The area is super safe and quiet, and you are in walking distance to downtown Niantic and the Boardwalk which you cannot beat! Also only about 20 minutes from Mystic. I cannot forget to mention how amazing our host, Katie, was! Super attentive and responsive with messaging, and she was even here doing yard work when we arrived so she greeted us which was such a nice touch. Overall, we will DEFINITELY be looking to stay here again! Loved every minute of it.

Rosemary was an excellent host and the home was clean, well stocked and felt very comfortable as a home away from home while traveling. We especially enjoyed the community’s private beach, using the provided parking pass, which was clean and calm water for children. After checkout I had left a pair of glasses and Rosemary let me know right away and assisted me in retrieving them before we left town which was much appreciated. The amenities for staying with a child were so helpful (changing table, pack & play, high chair, baby gate for stairs, beach toys). Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Cathy was such a great host! Her home was lovely, beautiful location just outside Mystic. It was well-equipped, very clean and the beds were super comfy. When the weather heated up and we were struggling to master the a/c, Cathy’s husband sorted us out quickly. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to come back. Excellent location and walking distance to downtown Mystic. Very clean and bright and airy home. Our 22 year old daughter saw it and wanted to move there. The garage was an added benefit so we could take our classic car.
