Family-friendly holiday rentals in New Melones Lake

This was a great place to stay with my family! We comfortably fit 7 adults and 3 kids. Each kid had their own bed and each adult had their privacy. The house was all fully equipped with everything you would need including beach gear and life jackets for the kids. We also appreciated that it was a fully stocked kitchen and had everything we forgot to bring. We had so much fun and enjoyed the community very much.

We were there for our granddaughters graduation. We loved staying at condo and will hopefully stay there again It’s a great place.

A fabulous cabin with every conceivable thing provided for a luxurious stay. We had a great time there, close to Yosemite, in a beautiful location in rolling hills.

This was our 5th year coming to this home to celebrate the end of the school year. Belinda is wonderful and so responsive. We love Murphys and the Capelli House!

The perfect place for a weekend getaway. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful, and there are many great hikes and eateries in the area. Already looking forward to coming back again.

Another great stay at Stew's place. I highly recommend. It is off a busy highway, but you wouldn't know it because it is secluded down below the businesses and is very private and quiet. Everything was very clean and lots to do with movies and games for the kids. The hot tub was so nice. It was very cool in the morning so that is a great way to warm up under the canopy of pine trees that surround the back deck. Definitely will be back for another stay.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

We (a group of 4 families) stayed at Monique’s chalet for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Our kids liked the pool table, air hockey table and arcade games, and we loved the outdoor space and beautiful views. Monique was very responsive via text. The location was excellent, close to Big Trees SP. Would stay again!

This was our second stay at Jennifer’s cabin and our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stays each time. We really appreciate the clear instructions provided, and the cozy cabin like feel is something we always look forward to. Thank you Jennifer!

Amazing stay at this adorable cabin! Check-in was easy, I appreciated the keypad lock for easy entry on arrival. We brought our little dogs and they loved running around the fully fenced yard. The house was warm and rooms were comfortable. Rob was responsive and helpful. Nice location with trees all around but plenty of neighbors so you don't feel isolated. Nickel slot machine and pool table were so fun! The bathrooms are very nice. The only small issue we encountered, was that we got a little lost arriving to the house on the first night, due to our late arrival and it being dark so we couldn't see street signs/ markers clearly. I recommend using Google Maps to arrive, Apple Maps took us to the wrong location. Looking back I could see that Rob's directions were very accurate, I just misread them. The house is right in the area where Kewin Mill Rd. and W. Brookside Drive connect, right near Estralita Dr. if that's helpful to anyone. Thanks for everything and for the lovely stay Rob!

We had an amazing stay at Julie's cabin over the holiday weekend. It was so relaxing and to have the river right outside was so majestic and breathtaking. You have to see it in person to really appreciate the amazing views. Her cabin was just as described and had everything we needed. We felt right at home and the surrounding area was also very nice. Lots of hiking areas and nearby lake. We are already looking forward to coming back.

Bob and Polly’s home was truly one of the best places i’ve stayed at. It was comfortable, cozy and very peaceful. They had everything that you would need for your visit. Very close to the big trees park. There are a bunch of restaurants close by and a grocery store as well. I would highly recommend this home!

We took a four day weekend in Murphy's to relax, see the sites and attend the Watertower show at Brice Station Vineyard. I have to say this cottage is one of the best stays we've booked on Airbnb, anywhere. The interior was a spacious, well appointed, high vaulted and practically furnished living space with one bedroom, one bath, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. Secluded toward the back of a fenced in, lush and well maintained backyard, this place is also a very short walk to downtown and all it offers (restaurants, park, wine tasting, etc.). Dog friendly too, not just this place but Murphy's in general. We definitely recommend this place and look forward to a future stay.

Mickey's place is within easy walking or driving distance to our relatives whom we visit regularly. Just the type of place we need, beautiful in the foothills, quiet and peaceful, and accessible to grocery or other needs. Mickey was very accessible, thanks for everything, Mickey -- we'll be visiting again!

I can’t say enough great things about Fred & Patricia’s home! My family and I were fortunate enough to be able to call Fred & Patrica’s place home for 30 days. It was amazing to be able to wake up with the amazing scenery and just a short drive or walk you can find a market and pizza! Everyone in the area was friendly. We absolutely loved it and hope to be able to visit again in the future!

My family and I stayed here to be close to Yosemite, and it was a pleasant, just over 30-minute drive to get there. The house is easy to find in a quiet, beautiful area, close to town where there are stores and restaurants. The house was perfectly clean, and everything was as described. My family all agreed that we did not want to leave because it was a wonderful stay. We plan to come back to Yosemite, and we plan to stay here again!

Excellent stay in a clean, well-equipped home We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—the place was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. One minor quibble: the coffee maker was tiny and could only brew two cups at a time, which was a bit inconvenient for our group. The location is fantastic—just about an hour’s drive to Yosemite National Park, making it an ideal base for exploring. The community was undergoing construction, and some roads were closed during our visit. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes to enter and pay the $50 entrance fee, which was frustrating. It’s worth asking the host for an update on access or checking ahead before booking.

Jeff and Gina were great hosts. Responsive and friendly. Close to Yosemite. The kids loved the game room, beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need.

Beautiful home. We enjoyed two very peaceful days on Pine Mountain Lake. We were able to take the kayaks and SUP to the swimming beach several times. Kids loved the board games supplied in the house. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Grocery store nearby.

Beautiful cabin in Arnold! Super cozy and every amenity you could need. My kids did not want to leave.

Great cabin to stay at. Plenty of room and clean. The theater room is awesome! Great sound system and comfortable recliners. The pool table with the ping pong topper was a lot of fun. There are other cabins near bye, but plenty of space between them. Would definitely stay at the sweet retreat again!

One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

This cabin was amazing. My family and I had so much fun there. Unfortunately, there was no snow as we expected, but a 30-minute drive to Bear Valley was not bad to have fun. It ended up being a good thing since we didn't always have to deal with snow. I will come back!
