The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

This is high desert, 83 ranch acres on Bear Creek, beside the Gila Wilderness, a private guesthouse w/private hot tub, amazing wildlife, beautiful views, dark night skies, reasonably fast Wifi (20+mbps), Internet TV, Tempurpedic Queen + Queen with Tempurpedic top, ORGANIC breakfast fixin's to start you off in a well appointed kitchen. Propane BBQ Grill. Dog friendly (only with all vaccinations and never left alone in house), eco-friendly. This is a vacation destination.

Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. Starting in the summer of 2016, The Famous Pecos River Cliff House will be available to travelers. The home has been a private residence for the last 12 years. We are now opening it up to the public and would love to share this hidden treasure with you The Cliff House is like nothing you have ever seen before. This custom adobe towers 50 feet over the Pecos River with breathtaking views of the river, dam, and canyon.
