Chalet holiday rentals in New York

It was nice staying at this Chalet. It felt home, cozy, serene and very private. Eventhough there are lots of cameras around the property but we felt safe for that. I didn't find the cameras are hampering our privacy. Only concern is you need to climb to the ladder to get into the Common Space two. So if you are big group of people then I would say that place is good for any teen boys or girls or who is athletic to climb up and down to the common space. We didn't need to use that area since we were a small group of people and we enjoyed our stay.

We had the most amazing weekend at Camp Shady with our family. The space was perfect for our family and the cabin was clean with all of the essentials. The mill creek in the back yard and the entire yard space was amazing. We grilled burgers over the fire pit and fished in the creek for trout. My kids loved the playhouse! Mark was so helpful and accommodating and flexible for our one night stay. I want to go back next weekend! 🤣

Great place that was clean, comfortable and cozy. There were excellent instructions for everything and my family loved the hot tub!

We enjoyed our stay so much that I booked another night for the following weekend. The place is simple and beautiful. Secluded, surrounded by a pine forest, with a cozy meadow. The house has everything you need. While we were having dinner, a deer mama and her little Bambi were grazing right outside the windows. A wonderful experience in every way.

Cozy Silo Home is a perfect description of Olga's home! The silo is really unusual, with lots of windows/lighting and is comfortable and nicely decorated. It's a short drive from Woodstock, which is a fantastic area with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. It's also very close to great hiking and other outdoor activities. At the house, we spent most of our time outside on the large balcony/patio and cooking meals on the outdoor grill. We booked last-minute and Olga was very responsive, answered all our questions and made things very easy for us. We live in NYC and a weekend in/around Woodstock is a great way to recharge and reconnect with nature. We definitely recommend Olga's silo home for a weekend or longer!! Note: stairs are required to enter into the home and to get to the bedrooms/bathrooms, so don't bring anything too bulky or heavy.

Simone is a very responsive and helpful host! Her place is also very clean and cozy with lots of entertainment for a good getaway. Would consider going back here for a weekend retreat.

Beautiful chalet with even better views - perfect for a calm and peaceful get away from the city, near hiking trails and 7 min from town for restaurants, had a great weekend and hope to be back soon

We had a magical weekend away and our stay was everything we hoped it would be, and more. Olia was incredibly responsive, friendly, and all around wonderful to connect with. The house was a magical time capsule holding the best of energy and a glimpse into the 70s - so fun. The pool and patio were awesome, with open and friendly spaces inside too, all made for the best of entertaining spaces. We could not have asked for a better weekend away, and we cannot wait to plan our next trip! Thank you!

Marry is a saint she was extremely helpful with an issue I had booking. The place is absolutely brilliant, coming from a carpenter by trade. Definitely will not be the last time I stay at her beautiful home.

Our group of 7 reserved the house for Cornell graduation (Ithaca is a 30 minute drive away). Phil was a great host, reaching out to welcome us and check in on how we were doing. He was very responsive and helpful when we needed to turn the heat on (in May!). The kitchen was fully stocked (with eggs, OJ, and milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine, chocolate, and supplies for s'mores). Due to the rain, we couldn't take advantage of the lovely property or the fire pit. The beds were comfortable, the dining table fit us all, and there was enough seating in the living room for us to gather. We appreciated the many board games and listening to Phil's vinyl collection. I would recommend this listing without any hesitation.

The house was spacious, clean, beautiful and private. We loved the view of Windham Mt from the second floor! The fireplace, expansive but cozy couch and downstairs game room were a hit! Half of my family skied and half stayed at the house to relax. Being 5 minutes from the mountain was fantastic and the house was perfect. Great restaurants nearby, where we had lunch, but the rest of the time we cooked in. Well equipped open kitchen! Hope to be back many times!

the house is a beautiful space with lots of room! all of the amenities the house offers makes it a great a comfortable place to come home to after skiing/snowboarding at the local mountains that Jay and Wilmington have to offer. the house is advertised as "minutes away" from these mountains which is a little stretch. from the house it is about a 30 min drive to either Jay peak or Whiteface. overall we loved our stay and enjoyed a great trip and made a lot of great memories.

We had a great time staying at Dean & Vic’s place! They were incredibly hospitable and responsive throughout the entire process, which made everything easy and stress-free. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—plus all the amenities worked perfectly. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a dance competition and the house was a perfect option for our group. Everything we needed was in the kitchen for us and convenient. Plenty of space for the kids and adults and comfortable beds. Thanks for great stay!

Stephanie’s place was the most detailed-oriented, well-maintained and cared for house our group has ever stayed in. All 12 people were so happy and impressed by how clean and perfectly planned / detailed the elements of the home were. We had an amazing family trip here!

The little cottage was so nice, private and cozy! It felt like you were staying at your grandparents place as a kid, super quaint and peaceful surrounded by tall trees. Definitely would want to come back

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! We loved all the space and amenities, especially the hot tub and sauna. The host was very helpful and responsive as we were planning our trip. Half of our party had stayed there before and wanted to go back. Thanks for a great stay!

Teddy’s home was welcoming and comfortable with all the amenities we needed to have a great Girls Weekend! The house was clean and there was so much for us to do; we enjoyed kayaking, the pool, and sitting on the dock to relax.

We had a great time at the Chalet, and all the extra touches were appreciated. Plenty of towels, available firewood, kcups for coffee and many other extra touches. We did a lot of cooking, and kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Great location. When not enjoying Lake Sacandaga, Saratoga and Lake George are also close by to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

The lake house was as expected with the exception of the lake access. It was across a highway, but was not critical to the stay at all or what we had planned. Tom was responsive before, during and once we checked out. It was very clean, and the views were great. There was a question with the well water and the smell. Which was normal but he advised me how to reduce the normal sulfur odor. It was not an issue and again as expected for a home on a septic and well system. The cleaning provider was on site and clearly spent time and detail in all of the rooms. It was clean and the beds were all made. Anyone interested in this property and area should definitely consider this home. My family and children enjoyed it immensely.

3rd times the charm!!! This was 3rd straight year myself & my crew(family), plus Charlie(Golden Retriever) have been to Alyson & Rob's house! Even though Mother Nature wasn't on our side all weekend, we still had an awesome weekend! Daytime down by the lake, then spending nights around the fire with a few cocktails is a great weekend! Rob & Alyson are quick with a reply to any questions! Looking forward to next year for Round 4! Highly recommend!

Great location so peaceful and serene!

We had a great time at Still Point & the surrounding areas. The house was well stocked with supplies. It was clean (keep in mind you are in the woods & mountains) & well maintained. Michael & Isabelle were easy to communicate with & quick to respond. The scenery around the house was beautiful & relaxing. Listening to the Loons just about every day & watching the beavers frolic one night was amazing. The surrounding areas & attractions were easily accessible & just a short drive. Yet, you felt like you were all alone & secluded when at Still point. Our kids had so much fun at the house & on all the adventures we took. The only downside was leaving! Thank you, Michael & Isabelle, for sharing your home & providing lasting memories for our family!!!
