Cosy Accommodation at Mill Cottage Bunkhouse!

AndyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Thank you Sarah for making us feel welcome. The bunk house is a fantastic little stopover in a historic and beautiful area and has all the creature comforts you would expect (with a few extras) 🙂 I would recommend the bunk house to anyone passing through.

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

HollyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a really wonderful and relaxing break here with our pup walking through the Lake District. This house was perfect, in stunning gardens and close to everything we wanted to do. We even enjoyed eggs from the chickens which came to say hi to us every day. A really beautiful place to stay, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Luxury Woodland Glamping Pod Heaves Wood - Yan

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed for a long weekend in the Yan cabin. Instructions on locating the site were clear and concise, and access easy by means of key safe at the property. Had one minor issue with the wi-fi (limited cellular reception in secluded locale, so necessary for sake of checking maps, etc) and this was sorted in a matter of minutes once we'd managed to get in touch with the hosts. Lovely and peaceful surroundings, comfortable and cosy cabin just the right size for two, and a very friendly chicken called Flora wandering around the site as an added bonus. Very charming and pleasant, would recommend.

Miller's Rest

EleanorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a lovely stay at Miller’s Rest, with a wonderful welcome in the form of homemade scones and a friendly chat with Claire. The hamlet is really close to the M6 but the noise was hardly noticeable and the area so peaceful and beautiful. Really refreshing to explore on foot, even in the pouring rain! Thank you, Claire and Dave, for a great stay!

We loved staying in this remote idyllic home. Just right for two, with beautiful views to the south and west. A perfect base for exploring the Lake District. Loved it

The Old Dairy at the Green - It's all yours!

PhilippaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Viv and Ernie’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in! Well planned out space, well equipped, and simply gorgeous surroundings- honestly 2 nights weren’t nearly enough! Thank you also for being such friendly hosts- and your walk recommendations were great.

Town End Farmhouse, Luxury Victorian 3 bed home

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay here. Extremely comfortable beds, lovely pub and beer garden next door and a lovely walk around the fields out back. Only downsides for us is that the place was not as dog friendly as we would have hoped, in that the garden was not completely enclosed. However still plenty places to take the dogs (on lead) for walks nearby. Also, the house didn’t have any amenities (ie tea, coffee, shower soap, etc.) so bring everything!

The Troutery@Bessy Beck

PrashanthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Shelly was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. The house was easy to find, though Apple Maps led us slightly past the location. She greeted us kindly and had thoughtfully left cookies, coffee, tea, and other essentials, which was a lovely touch. The place was spotless, and the bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo and conditioner (though a body wash would’ve been a nice addition). Shelly and her husband were both friendly and genuine, and their two lovely dogs added to the charm of the stay. The cleaning fee felt a bit on the higher side, but honestly, it doesn’t take away from how great the experience was. Highly recommended!
