Monthly Rentals in Newbrough

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. The attention to detail and the welcome pack made us feel at home straight away. Even the dog was included with a blanket and water bowl. It’s in an excellent location to explore Hadrian’s Wall and the Roman forts, as well as Corbridge and Hexham, both worth a visit. These are only a short drive away from the village of Wall itself, which is very picturesque and peaceful. All in all we had a great break in a great place.

Great location as a base for exploring Hadrians Wall country. Excellent communication, very clear instructions on arrival process, place was pristine clean, very comfortable and all necessary amenities, great collection of books for any avid readers. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore the area.

The Parlour was comfortable and homey. It was originally a milking parkour that has been remodeled into a wonderful place to stay. It has a loft for kids that made me wish I was ten again. Kids would love it! We enjoyed the downstairs with the spacious bedroom and comfortable bed. We cooked our meals in the well outfitted kitchen. The living and dining room was relaxing and inviting. We appreciated the beer and prosecco in the welcome basket. I mentioned that I had hurt my knee, and Claire stopped by with hiking poles I could use. So thoughtful and kind. We enjoyed our time visiting sites along Hadrian’s Wall. This was an ideal base for that.

We wanted a countryside location and enjoyed walking to Corbridge as well as travelling to local sites near Hadrian’s Wall. The Annex was a great base, and we managed to cook in the alcove discreetly fitted within the living room. Sonja and John gave recommendations for routes, pubs and hidden gems such as Allen Banks and Steel Rigg car park. Sitting in their garden was great too, as was the welcome pack for our arrival.
