Mansion holiday rentals in Newport

This place was perfect for a group, as there are two living rooms to hangout in as well as a lovely yard with a grill. Close proximity to all Newport has to offer was also a plus!

Could not have been more perfect. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay, it was pristine throughout, with stylish seaside themed fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings. It truly felt like home from home, spacious enough for six adults. The table football was an extra big hit as we spent quite a lot of time in the house due to the not so favourable weather! There was a lovely organic grocery shop 5 minutes drive There were lots of great restaurants inNewport. Our host, Case was very receptive to any queries raised and happy to recommend places to visit.

First, the bad. The only complaints I have are; 1) The stairs into the basement are VERY steep. Not suitable for older people or very young kids. 2) the kitchen is VERY old. Cabinet drawers stick, the Formica countertop is burned in places, and the stove was a bit rickety. For the premium price we paid I would have expected a premium kitchen. 3) We found little spiders throughout the house, especially in the bathrooms. Not sure if that’s normal in Rhode Island this time of year, but it was annoying. The good. The basement space was really amazing. Almost like it could be a separate 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. Parking was ample, the kitchen had plenty of seating for the family (we had 7 adults on this trip). The hosts were even thoughtful enough to have some tendon books on Rhode Island history around the house. I really appreciated that. Everything was exactly as they portrayed in the listing. Full grocery store is about 3 minutes away, and the location is perfect.

We had the best time staying at Joseph’s property! The host was responsive, and so easy to work with. This house is absolutely stunning and spotless. Definitely would recommend it to anyone!!!

We were 4 couples visiting for a Newport wedding. Jessica’s place was perfect, as all 4 bedrooms were en-suite, which is rare to find. Jessica was also very responsive. The house is nicely appointed and looks just like the photos.

We absolutely loved our stay at Courtney‘s house. The house is large, spacious and well stocked for everything that you need. The fire pit and the outdoor space is amazing. So close to the bird sanctuary and the main part of Newport. The house is incredibly well-maintained and clean.

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

Best house ever Best gathering spot Extremely convenient location to stores and the Naval Base Jessica had everything guests could need during our stay, from the dog bowls to the shampoo and conditioner along with a beautiful bouquet for our son's graduation.

The house is clean and tidy, and the room is spacious. The only drawback is that the reply is too slow, and it usually takes half an hour.

Bryan’s home was a fantastic location for a trip with 7 other people for our stay. We all had plenty of space in the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and the home in general. We arrived about an hour before check-in and Bryan allowed us to enter the home early. There was a cleaning woman just finishing up who left the house very clean and neat. The location of the home is quiet & very convenient. Just down the street from stores, food, liquor store and about 10 mins from Bowens Wharf, where we spent most of our time during our stay. Overall a very enjoyable experience for a groups of friends who haven’t taken a trip in over 5 years. Glad that Bryan’s house was a part of making great memories in Newport. Thanks Bryan!

We had a great stay here at James’ property. Everything was as advertised and ran smoothly. James was very clear with all instructions and was responsive. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to be close to Newport.

We had a funeral for our Mother. 10 of us all adults stayed at Christopher’s home and we all were very comfortable. It’s a beautiful home that accommodated us very well. If you’re looking for a beautiful Airbnb close to downtown Newport, look no further! This is an amazing home about 10 minutes from the wharf area. My family of 6 stayed for 4 nights and had the best time! The house was perfect! Spacious, comfortable, pristine, well equipped kitchen, gorgeous yard and pool, comfortable beds and linens! The host, Za, provided very clear instructions regarding check in and check out. We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival! This is one of the best Airbnbs that we’ve stayed at! Will definitely come back!!!

Shael is a wonderful host! Very responsive and friendly. The private pool is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it! There were plenty of towels and even some inflatable pool toys in the backyard shed. The kitchen is stocked with every tool and gadget imaginable. Beds were very comfortable.

The house was perfect for our family, loved that the Master bedroom was separate from the others. Short walk to the ocean and Restaurants. Would definitely rent this home again.

Liliane is a great host. Easy to work with and we really enjoyed the house. Our favorite thing was great backyard for grilling swimming and enjoying the sunshine.

This place was beautiful! The kitchen was spacious and accommodated our larger group nicely. Hosts left clear instructions and proactively checked in. They were even nice enough to open their pool a little earlier so we could enjoy it. Highly recommend staying here if you are planning a girls’ weekend. Bedrooms were comfy, and everyone in my group had a lovely time. Thank you!

Adrienne’s place was great! The accommodations were as described. We really loved the serenity of the environment and how private it was. This place is aptly named “Natures Nook” and we loved walking the property and feeling immersed with nature even when inside. There were so many outdoor activities available to us. Although we didn’t get to take advantage of it all, would definitely book again if we are in the area!
