Even though it’s small, it is very comfortable and well spaced and there is so much to do like the games that were left, or the tv comfortably placed with the bed, or cooking with all appliances included. Summer is the best place to relax at our one bedroom apartment (clean and disinfected before the arrival of guests) attached to our home, but with private access. Enjoy our BBQ area and swimming pool or grab our beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels and go to one of the fabled Rhode Island beaches for some ocean fun. Just a 10 minute stroll to the historic village of Wickford with its quaint shops, restaurants and seaside charm. We are close to Newport, Narragansett and East Greenwich.
What guests are saying:“My thirteen year old son and I needed a post-COVID break, so we had a lovely drive from nearby CT to this beautiful cottage that offered us tranquility, communing with nature, all the comforts of home and adorable shops. The cottage is perfect for a couple or a family with little ones. It has a full kitchen with all the necessary kitchenware, and Mark made sure there are bath and pool towels, blankets, soaps--anything you need. The pool is clean and refreshing, the yard tranquil and full of bunnies and birds. That we were invited to have our bulldog was an added bonus. Though the cottage allows you to reconnect with nature, the location has all the comforts for any modern needs one has. Within one mile of any direction are markets and restaurants. But the best part of the trip is the town of Wickford, about one mile away. It is a perfectly preserved historic district that also functions as modern restaurants and adorable shops. It was very charming and I spent almost each day there. My son, dog and I loved our stay at the cottage so much we are considering making it a yearly tradition. Mark was also very responsive, respectful and friendly. Left great directions for all amenities and check in.”
