Great place to stay! Friendly dock workers, friendly neighbors, my only complaint is that there is not a flat spot anywhere to stand to fish from. Other than that, the checkout instructions were extremely clear and concise and I had everything I needed in one little cabin!

This glamping tent was very cute inside. There were a few spider webs on the corners though. The shower was cute as well. It was on a little busier road than I expected so it was a bit noisy with the truck traffic. Unfortunately it rained for most of the night so our sleep wasn’t great but all in all it was a nice tent.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The quiet and peaceful location was exceptional. l Chris's responsiveness was also exceptional. I was having an issue with the TV in the main room, and Chris was very responsive even getting an IT person to help me get the problem resolved. In addition I got confused about my departure date and Chris was very kind and patient with me as I had to scramble to get out of the cabin and it was a late departure but he was so kind to extend grace to me . A great host and a wonderful location.

Newport Retreat: 12 Mi to Great Smoky Mountains!

This is the best place to stay! The house was so cozy and private with trees and land surrounding it. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The house was spotless which made it easy to feel right at home. The front porch was our favorite place to relax and read with the mountain view in front of us. The house is close to a main road so it can get a little noisy, but this didn't bother us at all. The host was very kind and even let us know that we could stay after the check out time because no one was coming to the house after us. Pigeon Forge was close to 45 minutes from the house and it was a beautiful scenic drive. The house is only a few minutes down the road from I-40 as well as a Walmart, gas stations, and fast food. There was a cute cafe in the downtown area of Newport called Simpl Cafe that was delicious and had outdoor seating by the river. I would definitely stay at this house again. We enjoyed every minute of it!

Great little getaway. Exactly as described. So peaceful. Great bath house!! Steffanie and David were extremely nice, very responsive and helpful. If you don't have 4WD or AWD, your car may struggle with the steep gravel roads in spots, especially if it rains. Wonderful camper in stunningly beautiful Del Rio.
