Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Newstead

We had a great three night stay at Brett's place. It was an easy drive to the places we wanted to visit and we'll positioned for our departure south west towards Toowoomba. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it to make a few meals at home. We walked up to a local coffee shop a few times and also did a longer walk down to the river, where we caught the RiverCat ferry into Brisbane CBD without having to worry about or pay for parking. The walk back to Brett's place uphill was a bit more challenging but manageable even for us (reasonably fit retirees). Very quiet location in a residential street. We'd be very happy to stay again.

We loved our stay at Crewe Cottage! Check-in was a breeze, the place was neat, clean and tidy, and we were able to settle in straight away. It's never easy travelling with pets, but the property being dog friendly and fully fenced took all the worry out of our stay here. Walking distance to shops and train, a park at the end of the road, just what we needed. Kimberley was a responsive and friendly host too!

Tammy is a lovely host, who has made a very comfortable ‘home away from home’ experience.

Our second visit & I'm sure it won't be our last! A very convenient location for a Brisbane stay.

We are a family of 5 with young kids. Christine’s place is much more better than in her photos, plenty of equipments for us to cook and laundry. If you want to go to City, just drive your car to the park and ride ( 2 mins) or walk to the train station (5 mins) and transit to City, it takes around 10 mins. Indooroopilly Mall is close enough, few mins driving only. Christine provided plenty of breakfast ingredients for us during our stay. In conclusion, Christine’s place is highly recommended. Her place is my 1st priority for my stay in Brisbane in coming future.

We liked Sandra’s place on a previous holiday so very pleased it was available for this trip. Comfortable beds, clean and everything is there that you need. The location is perfect for going into the city, Suncorp Stadium and great cafes and restaurants. Public transport is fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Alyssa’s place is in a quiet, peaceful location, perfect for relaxation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the living room and balcony provided great spaces for family time. Alyssa and her partner were very friendly, and her son was so kind to play with my kids. Highly recommend this cozy, welcoming spot!

Absolutely stunning property. Everything was perfect we had a great break there. Our pup loved the place, she played tennis, love meeting Mixie. Great hosts

Great stay! Really homey feel & a great space. Walkable distance from everything you need and really accessible. Pool and outdoor area are great.

Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. **A Pleasant and Comfortable Stay** We had such a great time staying at this granny flat! The host was super friendly and even took us out to experience some local vibes—think a jazz jam , riverside walk followed by a lovely dinner. The place itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Plus, the location was perfect—close enough to shops. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a smoother stay. 10/10 would recommend if you want a clean, comfy spot with a host who goes the extra mile!

Our stay was excellent. It was so clean and has everything to live comfortably in for longer stays. The pool is beautiful and clean, the balcony was our hang out area that was reasonably private and the kitchen has everything. My wife and I stayed at Robert's place for two nights, for our anniversary and we couldn't be happier. The area was super-convenient for all the amenities, and locations in Brisbane. It was super walkable for the things that my wife and I wanted to do, namely visit Southbank and QPAC. There were good restaurants nearby and we always felt safe. The apartment itself was very clean and full of character. The linen and towels were all fresh and crisp, and the massive King Size bed was super-comfortable and made for an excellent few nights' sleep. Robert was a very gracious host, even when my wife and I arrived two hours or so later than we anticipated (Thank you rain!). Robert was very accommodating and very friendly to interact with. We will definitely stay again, the next time we're up in Brisbane. Thanks, Robert.

Very nice place to stay at. Everything was as it was advertised which you would expect. The hosts were very professional and responded very quickly to any questions we had. I have absolutely no bad things to mention about our stay. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Brisbane for a week or so.

Jade is an excellent communicator and very accommodating. We needed to hire a mobility lift chair and Jade was so helpful and flexible. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Jade’s partner Johnny was fun and easy going. The house is better than the advertisement. The kitchen is stocked really well with cooking equipment etc. The home was spotless and tastefully decorated with a nice layout. The shared space outside is awesome. When the owners were home they joined us a few times to play pool and hang out. Overall the experience was amazing and highly recommended.

We loved Sophie and Ari’s place! It was super comfortable, had great amenities and was sparkling clean. The easy communication and little extras (chocolates!!) were a bonus. Would definitely recommend and stay again

We love Shaneel's place. 1. He understood that we have a cat and kindly allowed us to check in early with no extra fee — you don’t know how much that helped us. 2. Every little detail shows: clean, tidy towels are well prepared in the cupboard, and the bathroom is spotless (which is super important to me). 3. Shaneel replies instantly, no matter how late it is. 4. Our cat really enjoyed Shaneel’s place — he explored every corner with his tail up high!

Comfortable and chic, Sarah’s place looked just like the photos. Beds were made with quality linens and the mattresses were super comfortable. The space had everything we needed for our short stay and the location was great.

Enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities to make it a relaxing and pleasant stay. The large and spacious balcony with the outdoor furniture extended the living space significantly. The location also was ideal with very easy access to shops and restaurants and to walkways along the Brisbane river.

Nancy’s place was excellent. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The place is bigger and more spacious than the pictures. Opening up the back windows and the back verandah felt like a bigger place. We spent mornings on the back verandah. It was lovely. The pool across the road was great for kids. The bus into town was quick as well. Any burgeoning cyclists or seasoned cyclists - the bike paths are accessible and we were able to do the River Loop with no worries from the house. Really lovely and modern apartment. Recently renovated and very clean making it feel like staying in a newly built apartment block/modern hotel. Great kitchen, large living area for apartment size and bedrooms were very comfortable. Cot set up in bedroom for baby on arrival. Some issues with carport door motor but host was contactable and helped trouble shoot. Would love to stay again in the future.

Wonderful. Appreciated being able to have our support dog with us. Great views. Handy to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Very comfortable. Takeaways and the Myer Centre 500m away. We will definitely visit again.

We had a fabulous stay at Ashgrove for a month while our house was having some repairs made. James and Rebecca were very quick to reply and helpful when needed. The place was clean, the location was fabulous and the beds were very comfortable. We would recommend staying here! 5 stars 🙂
