We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Aside from a clean and welcoming home every little thing we needed was on hand. We did use a lot of firewood

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Hilltop Retreat this week for us and our two dogs. A very tranquil and picturesque experience in the Scenic Rim. The house is very clean, tidy and well equipped with everything you need to make it feel like home. A very short drive to town and to the fantastic Golf Resort. We will recommend to everyone and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic property in a beautiful spot. Only thing to note for future guests is that while the property is fully fenced, if you have smaller pets they may be able to fit through gaps in the fence so you need to keep an eye on them, especially the gate to the property which is on the main road as the yard isn’t fenced off from the driveway.

I can only recommend Stuart’s place. The place has everything you need and is located in a charming farm surrounding by nature and stunning landscapes. Stuart communication and hospitality are above and beyond expectations. Thank you Stuart for the great stay.

Me and my family had an amazing time at brumbies! The kids really love the horses, ponies and especially their friendly dog Indy. Now we’re back in the city we kind of missed the place already, because it was peaceful totally away from the city noise and the air is definitely different there. Jodie was an amazing host! We would certainly recommend this place to family with kids! Thank so much for making our stay a memorable one!

We stayed at Karins cottage en-route from Airlie beach to Brisbane with our small poodle Tiwi. The cottage is an absolutely beautiful, private and peaceful farm cottage yet only 10-15 minutes off the main highway so really easy to get to. Karin and Amanda are amazing and attentive hosts and have providing absolutely everything you need including beautiful bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans and yummy mushrooms ! The cottage is a modern farm cottage with ' rustic touches '. Very comfortable furniture and very comfy super king bed. The reverse cycle air-con made for a beautiful cosy warm stay in winter.Thanks for an amazing stay we cant wait to return! Maggie, Hugh snd Tiwi 😊😊🐾🐾

Our stay at The Dairy Cottage was fantastic. Stunning property, quiet, and tranquil. Ros was very accommodating, she provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes, walks and activities. Super easy check in and the cottage was beautifully decorated and so inviting. We loved making use of the outdoor kitchen for breakfast, and the fire pit in the evening. We had a fantastic weekend staying at The Dairy Cottage - would absolutely recommend this location to anybody looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful place.

Absolutely magical stay, we didn’t want to leave. Such a beautiful space that had everything we needed! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kids loved the pool, kitchen was really well equipped and the location was perfect for us as we had a wedding right around the corner. 5 mins from the beach and cafes too. Will hopefully be back for another weekend stay soon!

We can't say enough about how much we loved staying at Debbie's place. The Tiny House was as beautiful as the surroundings and Debbie and Adam were so lovely and responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed meeting them and their delightful blue heeler who played perfect host to our beagle pups. Open air fire pits under the stars, hot water baths that were to die for, and a cosy and amazingly functional house were all unforgettably luxurious. We could have spent another week staring out at the serene countryside, listening to the gentle mooing of the cattle and visiting rustic country towns and first-class eating places. We will definitely be coming back!!!

The house located in a very quiet place but just one hour drive from Brisbane. Is big and tidy well furnitured. Huge yard for the dogs we also pretty enjoy the small tennis court. Beautiful glass mountain view from back yard. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Danielle’s place! It was so peaceful, quiet, and immaculate. When we walked in, it was just so comforting and felt so at home we did not want to leave :( We will definitely be back!!

Our group loved this farm stay. We had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding towns and part of the coast by car. It was lovely to come back to a relaxing and quiet spot to read and book and cook a meal. The pool and hot tub were loved by our group despite the cold of winter! Foraging citrus and collecting eggs was a highlight and we loved being waking up to the sound of birds and cows.

This cottage was very well kept and cozy. They had considered the options of going out and exploring, or relaxing around the cottage day and night and catered with information and helpful items. The views were stunning and the location so peaceful. Very well considered set up and just what we needed.

My family and I loved our farm stay weekend away. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you could want and more. The property is beautiful and we had a great time exploring it. Our two boys loved Moo the dog and feeding all the animals with Leonie. We would love to stay here again!

Maggie's cottage was an unforgettable stay. tucked neatly away into the sunshine coast hinterland it made for a romantic weekend getaway! Julie our host was fantastic providing easy and clear instructions to locate and enter the house. Julie had clearly spent a lot of effort in setting up the cottage with every amenity available plus a couple of extra home made treats. I'd certainly recommend Maggie's cottage and if I can make it back would love to stay again!

Tranquil, peaceful and private. Photos do not do this place justice. Our favourite things: - fire pit (toasting marshmallows and watching shooting stars and spotting satellites) - the wildlife. All day long different birds visited, wallabies too, absolutely magic The veranda is perfectly positioned and thoughtful optional gates to stop dogs scaring birds away. - freedom for our pups. They loved venturing around the fully fenced property and were completely tuckered out each night and enjoyed sitting by the fireside to snooze the night away. - the cosy interior. On our rainy day we played monopoly, watched movies and cuddled up in the warm, softly lit cabin. - Beds were extremely comfortable. Next time we visit - we are keen to explore the local trails - we will have pack less, this place has all the amenities and facilities you could need for a weekend away. By far, the greatest getaway in a long time Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We took our little dog & spent so much time just relaxing on the deck and under the lime trees. Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful comfortable getaway.

What a beautiful gem this cottage is! A wonderful place to unplug and relax. Everything was just as described and the place has everything you need and expect for a place to stay. Great that it's pet friendly. We enjoyed the views and had an enjoyable walk down to the Main Creek. We hope to be back in the future!
