Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ngongotahā Valley

What a beautiful home for a family getaway! It surpassed our expectations, and they were high. Sarah and Darren have thought of absolutely everything and it is all top quality and so comfortable. One of my aunties marvelled that her bed was so good, she woke up without the usual aches and pains. Located just up the road from the redwood forest and tree walk, and only a few minutes from town, yet private and quiet, it was a perfect escape. Now we want to stay again during summer to make the absolute most of the fabulous pool and outdoor areas. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic stay in Rotorua! The place was cozy and well-equipped, making it the perfect getaway. I especially appreciated the thoughtful sushi gift—it was such a nice touch and truly made my experience even better. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend!

We only stayed one night as we had an event to attend, but we felt relaxed as soon as we entered this lovely clean home. Everything was clean and sparkling, the beds were comfortable, all linens high quality and the rural setting was gorgeous. Highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting to stay in the area and I hope to stay again when we are next looking for accomodation in Rotorua/Ngongotaha. Great stay and awesome accomodation. Exactly as described and bigger. Luxury bedding and linen plus plenty of space for the kids. Not too far from town, convenient location. We appreciated the fireplace and games/toys. Would absolutely stay again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The place was clean and tidy and incredibly comfortable. It had everything I needed. The location was perfect too. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Well priced, clean, had all the stuff we needed for our family. Close to shops, very accessible. Very warm house, my family who were visiting from overseas enjoyed their stay. We had minor issue with the main door but I was already made aware prior. Highly recommended and we are happy to go back next time.

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Toka Ridge, booking the beautiful “Toka 4 – Koko” villa. It was a last-minute trip to Rotorua, and we truly lucked out finding this absolute gem. The villa was spotless, spacious, and tastefully designed, a perfect home away from home. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The villa had everything we needed and more, including a luxurious spa pool an absolute highlight, especially with Rotorua’s cozy, rainy weather! For those new to the area, the guest book provided at the property is incredibly helpful. It’s full of local recommendations, tips, and helpful information to make the most of both the home and the Rotorua experience. A big thank you to our host, Liam, who was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Toka Ridge exceeded our expectations the kids loved it, we loved it, and we’re already planning our next visit!

Our stay at this beautiful and spacious home was enjoyed by all 9 of our whanau ranging from old to young. We were close enough to attractions we wanted to visit, the spacious kitchen and formal dinning space allowed for delicious homemade family dinners and eating all together around the table. Thank you for supplying an abundance of food and treats for us to enjoy, it was so appreciated arriving our first day and enjoyed through to our last.

Such a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the city. We really enjoyed a soak in the spa after our busy day. Wished we stayed longer, so will definitely look at staying here again. The host is friendly and fast to communicate! My friends and I enjoyed our stay :)
