Cottage on lakeside property.

This is a cozy guestroom attached to the garage on our stunning half-acre lakefront, tree-studded property. The bedroom (double bed) and bath are quite small (not room for much luggage), but perfect for a few nights stay. We have two chairs and a little table set up right outside, and there are other relaxing spots. Check-in time is normally 3:00, but can be earlier with prior approval. We also rent out our house on occasion. They are 2 separate places non attached.

A great place for a family vacation. We had a single level property with a nice patio that lead to a huge grass common area and a play structure for the kids. Pool was also a short 1 minute walk, had a great hot tub, small wading pool for the kids, and a heated large pool. We spent almost all of our time there. Arcade games were also accessible in main lobby area. Room had AC and anything we needed to our own food. Grocery store was within 5 minute drive.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was exactly the kind of reset we were craving. From the moment we walked in, we both just kind of melted. The space is stunning — mid-century modern meets southwest boho, with these earthy textures, natural wood tones, and little design details that make it feel thoughtful but still effortless. You can tell it was styled by someone with real taste. We spent most of our time just being in the space — slow mornings with coffee, watching birds drift past the windows, evenings curled up by the fireplace with a bottle of wine. The views are insane. Every direction feels like a postcard, especially at sunset. That golden hour glow over the lake and hills was unreal. We did sneak out to a couple of nearby wineries (definitely worth it), but honestly, the highlight was just being here — no schedule, no noise, just the two of us and the quiet beauty of the place.

This was an amazing find for a quick weekend get away. The location by the lake had beautiful views and being near other staying made it feel like a true community. The check in and check out process was incredibly easy, and the amenities were amazing and exactly as described on the listing. Esther was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, and even gave us suggestions for activities in the surrounding area. Would highly recommend for you weekend get away!

We had a fantastic experience at Volcano Vista! Our host was incredibly communicative throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The sunset views were breathtaking, and we enjoyed the feeling of complete privacy. Getting to the lake was a breeze by car, even if it was a bit of a walk otherwise. Without a doubt, the spacious shower with its luxurious waterfall showerhead was the best part - it was truly a standout feature!

Great place for quite and peaceful retreat with friends and family, with relatively modern amenities. Wifi was intermittently slow but that may be during our stay (you would not need it anyway). We wouldn't mind coming back to celebrate our next family event with kids.
