But if you want to be in the hustle and bustle, you can be in the center of Hoorn in 15 minutes and in Amsterdam in 40 minutes. In short, a nice place, with a private garden and various other options.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Aldehoeve accommodation: Apartment Trije for max. 4 people

Aldehoeve is a characteristic Frisian farm from 1860, just 5-minute walk from the old city center of Workum. Three apartments have been built in the farm: Ien, Twa and Trije. Trije offers space for up to 4 people. On the ground floor you'll find the cozy living room with open kitchen and bathroom with toilet. On the 1st floor (accessible via stairs) there are 2 bedrooms. The rear bedroom has no windows. Both the downstairs area and the upstairs bedrooms have their own air conditioning.

This little house has two sides to it. On the breakfast side, you sit very peacefully looking out over the meadows. With a bit of luck, the cows will walk past on the road towards the pasture. On the other side of the house, you are situated on the well-known Elfstedentocht route. It's a bit livelier here. Boats, cyclists, and many tours following the famous Eleven Cities route. The sun circles the house, which means it has a wonderfully sunny garden at any time of the day.

Our Konga float has a fixed berth on our private island, located in the Morra Lake in South West Friesland. If you need privacy, peace, space, off grid, nature in comfort, then our Float is exactly what you need. You will have the island to yourself. In the middle of nature. You can fish, swim, paddle, sail, or just do nothing at all. Waking up in our sustainably built sailing tiny house is a blessing for everyone, after which you can handle the hectic pace of everyday life.

This former grocery store from around 1901 is now a cozy furnished studio for 2 to a maximum of 4 people. The grocery cabinet of yesteryear is still there, and the decor is authentic and cozy. There is a double box spring bed and a comfortable sofa bed. The studio is located right in the authentic center of Workum. Within 2-3 minutes you are at the market square with various restaurants with cozy terraces and there are also nice shops within walking distance!

De Waard van Hidaard

On the Hidaard mound, you stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house features a spacious kitchen and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the lower floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birds singing, panoramic views, and the cozy warmth of the wood-burning stove.

Aan Het Water Wetterhaghe, possibly with a sturdy E-sloop

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful location with the garden on open water, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!

Waterfront apartment C

The 3 apartments at De Opper in Heeg are bright and fully furnished. In the cozy living room, there is also the open kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, induction cooktop and oven. Upstairs are 2 spacious double bedrooms and the bathroom with shower and toilet. There is floor heating. On the terrace, you can sunbathe and enjoy. If you do not come by boat, but want to get on the water, you can rent a sloop or sailboat. Ask the host about the possibilities.

Vacation home "Witte Baak"

In 2022, we built our vacation home in this unique location and it has all the comforts! Whether you are cooking together in the luxury kitchen or hanging out on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove, you will notice the intimate atmosphere and the beautiful light everywhere. The house is located directly on open water and has a large veranda. With the village and beach within cycling distance, this is a wonderful place to recharge.
