YellowHouse Nikko! 1.5km to Nikko’s attractions!!

I booked the whole house for myself, because I wanted the view and also some peace and quiet after going to a conference in Tokyo.. It would be fab for a family too, a 3 bed house, 2 loos. The kitchen was spotless, washing machine (which I didn't use), bathroom with bath (did use). I had two days, one I took the bus to the Kegon waterfall and mooched around the Chuzenji lake, loads more hikes to explore next time! The second day it rained, last day of my holiday so I treated myself, went to an onsen on the edge of town, Keith's recommendation, very luxurious for 1000 yen, followed by a steakhouse wagyu meal which was also expensive but amazing beef. When the sun was out I sat and had coffee in the garden. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Definitely would recommend Naoaki’s place. A wonderful stay at Nikko! The host is really responsive and helpful. The apartment is beautifully furnished. The recommendation and guide maps are a plus.

Entire detached house/between Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls/Family/Group/2 toilets [Iroha Nikko KUJIRA]

A two-story house in a quiet residential neighborhood, less than 10 minutes by car from Tobu Nikko Station. There is parking space for 1 car.It can be accessed by bus, but you will need to buy groceries in the city before your stay, or you will need a car. There are few restaurants nearby, so it is suitable for self-catering.The kitchen is fully equipped. The bath and toilet are clean. Both the 1F and 2F living rooms have sofas, so you can relax. The host's response was also prompt.Overall, it is excellent in terms of cost performance.

If I had known that the accommodation was so wonderful, I would have booked one more night. Ian makes it a very pleasant experience, being aware of everything, he looked for us at the station, took us to the supermarket and kept some food for breakfast. As we were traveling with our one-year-old baby, all these things helped us a lot. The house is amazing, it has all kinds of amenities, with a beautiful garden and a super well-equipped kitchen. Nikko is a beautiful place, highly recommended to stay there for a couple of nights.
