We ended up changing our accomodation and are so thrilled we found Cheryl and Donna’s place. It’s a beautiful, spacious and clean villa with all amenities you’d need for a short or long term stay. We were travelling with our 2 young children and both absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, a short walk down the hill to get to the beach and close to some really lovely restaurants (including Raa which is a must visit!) There are 3 very friendly dogs that live on the property so if you’re a dog person you’re in for a treat! We ended our 10 week trip at this villa and were so glad we did, if we ever come back to Hiri we will 100% stay again.

Absolutely gorgeous place, so private yet so close to Hiri beach. The pool on the deck was lovely for afternoon chilling. The villa is modern and really nicely decorated and host is really easy to get in touch with and provided lots of really useful info on the local area. Munoj is so friendly and accommodating too. Highly highly recommend!

Great accomodation nestled in a quiet corner of the village, away from the bustle of the main drag but still close enough to walk everywhere. Very private, I was lucky enough to have the place to myself but the accommodation is only one other room next door if you do have to share. Either way, you have your own bathroom ammenities and a shared kitchen and balcony. The place is so close to the beach and surrounded by vegetation. The little local monkeys are a bit cheeky but very cute, and fun to watch play in the surroundings. Romaine, Cassandre and Inès were all an absolute pleasure to deal with, and were very helpful with any requests. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Saffron house was nothing short of amazing. It is a truly beautiful location, you can walk to Hiriketiya Horseshoe bay within 5 minutes, but inside the property it is nice and quiet. The rooms were big, with beautiful design and an outside bathroom, and the views from outside were amazing. Also, the breakfast was plentiful and the amazing staff helped us with all our requests. Cannot wait to go back one time!

We had a lovely time at Lova’s place! The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Short reminder that there is no AC but with the open windows and fan the heat was manageable. The atmosphere was amazing, waking up to the sun and sounds of the forest was a dream. The location was a little remote, we rented a scooter to get to the beaches (takes ca 25 min to Hiriketiya, 15 min to Tangalle).

I highly recommend this place! The room was super clean and the bed really comfortable, equipped with everything you might need and a great balcony to chill in the evening. It’s perfectly located between Hiriketiya and Tangalle, which makes it easy to explore all the beaches in between. Close by there is Malewa Beach, beautiful and still untouched. A special thank you to Supun and his wife, who were the kindest hosts. They always made sure everything was perfect. Supun also shared great local tips that really made our stay even better. We felt truly welcomed and cared for.
