Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional. The property itself was beautiful, comfortable, and ideally located in Mirissa—but what truly set this experience apart was the host. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our stay special, they went above and beyond in every possible way. Thanks to their thoughtful recommendations and unwavering support, we were able to experience Srikanta in a way that wouldn’t have been possible on our own. In fact, Mirissa—and Srikanta—feel incomplete without their presence and guidance. This stay was unforgettable, and we’re deeply grateful. There’s a lot to say but to sum up I would say to everyone that I met the hosts as strangers and now they are like a family to us. Must must recommended!!

super nice place to have for yourself. Take time to yourself while being close to the center of both Weligama and Mirissa. Both are easy to reach with a tuktuk or bus within 10 min. Sahan was super friendly and also his father helped us to all our wishes. The house was clean and atmospheric. The rooms were spacious, the pool was great and was cleaned every day.

We had such a fantastic time in Muhudu Niwasa. The property is located right by the beach with a beautiful garden ladened with coconut trees. The setting was perfect for us to truly unwind and enjoy the beauty the place had to offer. The property had plenty of rooms and beds and the view from the master bedroom with it's long balcony was breath-taking. We went as a group of 7 (incl. 2 small children) and the property catered for what we all needed. Spending time in the swimming pool was a special highlight as both our 5 year old and 3 year old developed a love for swimming while we were there. We felt safe at all times with plenty of activities nearby. Most of all, a very big thank you to Pradeep and Tharakka who took care of us exceptionally well. They were courteous and available and made us feel right at home. We also went kayaking with Pradeep twice as it was such a great experience. Tharakka also took us around in his tukuk which was practical and a lot of fun.

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

We were a group of 4 friends and had booked the entire Ventana Mirissa property — and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience! The villa was neat, clean, and very well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private pool, which was just perfect for relaxing and hanging out together. A special mention goes to Maleesh, the property caretaker. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and always available whenever we needed anything — whether it was guiding us with local tips, or simply making sure we were comfortable. The villa also has proper parking space within the property, which made things really convenient for us as we had our own vehicle. Overall, Ventana Mirissa exceeded our expectations — peaceful location, great hospitality, and a beautiful space that felt like home. Highly recommended!

Kasun was an amazing host, always proactive and respectful. The place is also beautiful, clean and calm. Highly recommended if you are travelling to weligama with 1-2 travellers.

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Cecile has a dream place for any family to stay. From the location to the great staff, everything felt like home away from home. The great view, large pool, and staff who cooked tasty food contributed to this. If you love local Sri Lankan food, Manjula provides the best. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any family who wants a peaceful view of Sri Lanka with the best amenities and a great staff to take care of them.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We had the best time at The Palm Lanka and couldn’t ask for more! The kids were comfortable and the space is very family friendly and spacious. The location is perfect by the beach, and well surrounded yet you have complete privacy. We fully enjoyed the terrace, the pool, and the garden! Manel and Suresh were incredible support the whole time, serving amazing meals, helping with recommendations and anything we needed, even getting a birthday cake for our baby’s first birthday! We highly recommend this space and will definitely be coming back again ♥️

We just returned from the most unforgettable stay at this stunning private villa in the south of Sri Lanka, and we’re still floating from the experience! We were 3 families with 6 young kids (ages 3 to 8), and this place was pure paradise for all of us. From the moment we booked, the host Sophie was an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, incredibly responsive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay extra smooth. The villa itself? Breathtaking. Think lush gardens, open tropical spaces, beautifully designed rooms, and a serene vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at home. It was spacious enough for our group to feel comfortable and connected, with plenty of areas for the kids to explore and the adults to unwind. And the staff! So friendly, so kind, and so attentive. But the real star of the show was Dias, the private chef, who absolutely blew us away with his who absolutely blew us away with his cooking. If you’re thinking of staying here—do it. This place is magic.

We had a wonderful stay at Hiru House. Jude was incredibly responsive and very helpful. The accomodation was spacious and easily accommodated our 3 families, totalling 13 guests. Jude and his wife Asha cooked us an amazing Sri Lankan feast one night, a favourite meal of many of us. I would love to come back and stay again!

We spent four days at Villa Sõmar and are completely satisfied. The villa is spacious, very clean and exactly as in the description. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast served by two very dear employees. The Sri Lankan banana pancakes are highly recommended. Furthermore, before arrival, you will receive a very detailed message in which, among other things, there are many restaurant recommendations, beaches nearby and even numbers of two tuk tuk drivers. The location is fine and you can reach anything by tuk tuk or scooter. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back anytime.

Our stay was wonderful! We went for a short vacation for my birthday. Me and my friends had a great time here. The property was so calming and peaceful. The place was more than true to the photos. It was beautiful to the naked eye. A highlight of our trip is that the staff were so kind and service was excellent. We definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a getaway and wants to be immersed in nature.

Pavithri & Rajitha were great host. They took care of all our needs. The house was beautifully decorated and very neat & clean. Kitchen was with all amenities as described. The surroundings was very serene and beautiful. The best part was they invited us for lovely dinner on day at their home. Great friendly host. Highly recommended.

We had the best time at the villa. The minute we entered we were in awe of the place. It actually looked better than the pictures. We were a bunch of girls and skeptical about the safety as it was a new country but Binara made us feel right at home. There was periodical cleaning at the villa with a caretaker always at the property. The pool was always maintained clean and the team maintained privacy as well. Binara was always helpful and responsive. The location is bang on as well. Walkable to beach and 5 mins to all the famous cafes like Kai, cactus etc. couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in SriLanka. Highly recommend this place- be it with you family or friends.

Our 3rd time back at Mula Villa, had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing and comfortable, a few nice upgrade since our last visit (filtered water machine, new cushions), we love this place and the fantastic staff. We were not at all bothered by neighboring construction noise as permis other comments

Ben was quite responsive and had proper recommendations of places to visit and eat during our stay. Roshan , the manager there was quite helpful , he set us up with scooter , cleaned the pool regularly , was always there if we needed anything. The location of the air bnb was perfect and it looked exactly like the pictures. Overall 10/10 stay

We (family of 5 with 3 young kids) loved our stay at Helios. Ashley has designed the place beautifully and the interior design is very cool. The garden and pool area was heavenly with so much wildlife (monkeys, lizards, birds and we even saw a mongoose in the garden!). It was easy to get lost in time watching the monkeys swinging around in the trees and jumping on the roof. We loved the outdoor bathrooms. The team were very helpful and responsive and Lalani made a great breakfast. The location is great, near to a superb coffee shop and cafe (The Kip) and back from the main road in Ahangama (which is extremely hectic especially with young children), so it was a bonus to be set back from there. We loved our stay and made lots of great family memories. Thanks Ashley and team, we’d definitely recommend!
